  1. Roomate Agreement

  3. This is a form for renting a room at the address of 5407 Crestwood Road, and I am in full agreement with the following terms.

  5. Section A. Household Responsibilities)
  6.  
  7. 1) Dishes
  8. Everyone in the residence will SHARE responsibilities in washing the dishes. In the event one of the other roommates is at “sick”, hospitalized, or deceased, another roommate will pickup those duties. If a roommate is too “sick” to perform his/her duty task of washing dishes, a doctor’s excuse must be supplied to the house owner. If a roommate is at work, they have the right to move their washing duties until their next off day. Everyone will wash dishes (ALL OF THEM) at least once a week.

  10. 2) Yard work
  11. Yard work must be performed to upkeep facilities to standard of the public eye. Mowing, raking, tractor work, will be SHARED.

  13. 3) House Maintenance
  14. Maintenance of the house is the responsibility of the owner. If there is something the renter would like fixed, upon PAYMENT of RENT, the renter will also supply and formally present a sheet paper with all maintenance needs on it. These needs will be addressed at the capacity of funds provided by the renter.

  16. 4) Laundry
  17. Each party is responsible for their own laundry
  18.  
  19. 5) Consumables
  20. Consumables are there to be shared. However, in the event a party is not participating in accumulating consumables, other parties in the household have a right to not share. Example: If Amanda does not buy food/drink for a week, she cannot demand food from another renter.

  22. 6) Temperature of the house
  23. The renter, NOT THE OWNER, has the obligation of controlling the temperature within their own rooms. They are SOLELY responsible for their rooms.

  25. 7) Cleanliness
  26. Thursday’s are cleaning day. All rooms will be swept/vacuumed/dusted/cleaned/and neatly arranged on Thursdays. Failure to comply will result in immediate fining of the rernter. All laundry will be put up. All rooms will be organized.

  28. 8) Passings
  29. It is encouraged ALL renters utilize air sterilizing agents after bowel movements.

  31. Section B. Personal Grooming Habits)
  32.  
  33. 1) Each party within the domain are to keep a clean persona about them.
  34. 2) Each party agrees to shower at least 3 times a week.
  35. 3) Each party agrees that if they are going to go out within the public eye, they will wear clothing for that day that fits them, in a nice, neat manner.
  36. 4) In the event of work, leisure activity, or in their own room, section 3 is not valid.

  38. Section C. Public Transportation)
  39.  
  40. 1) The following is a list of public transportation in Bastrop, LA.

  47. 2) No one person is solely responsible for transportation of any one. It’s is a vehicle owner’s right to say yes or no in the use of their vehicle.

  49. Section D. Pets)
  50.  
  51. 1) All pets that are at 5407 in Crestwood Road are to be fed/groomed by its immediate owner. If animals are to be “let out” only the (F)female Shar-Pei [TAN] Named Noodle may actually be let out and off the front porch by anyone. The (F) female miniature Doberman Pinscher named Clarice must be no farther than on the porch AT ALL TIMES during store hours next door.
  52. 2) Any request for additional pet to be allowed within the confines of the house must be made in written form and formally given at the time of payment of the rent by the renter.

  55. In the event I fail to meet the requirements in this agreement, I will be fined $100 additionally to each month’s rent. The maximum number of fines is 3. If three fines are reached within a 6 month period, eviction will occur. I am in full awareness of this and this gives me incentive to uphold the renter agreement.
