  14. Let's say you have a page with:
  15. Pictures, Description(1K words), Faq, Q/A...
  16. all the content is in the same topic,
  17. Would you split that content into multiple pages and interlink between them, or put all the content on the same page?
  18.
  19. single page with all the info

  24. When you overload the content in single page, the page load time will be slow, might frustrate users and increase your site bounce rate, less insight from google analytics with all your content stuffed into single page, not a good practice..better to go with multipage with many internal links.

  34. I believe it’s one page because I have see. 5k words article in one page so that’s my logic that’s the correct practice
  35. ?
  36.
  37. It depends on your goals. If the goal is speed then split it. If the goal is SEO one page is better!
  38.
  39. Long page doesn't necessarily mean a slow page. Depends on your hosting, optimization.
  40. I believe that both approaches can be successful. You see many long articles (thousands of words) ranking for all kinds of terms in all kinds of niches. But you often find somewhere close to the top one of these websites that basically induce user to click multiple times to see the entire content (always showing just a tiny bit, and a new page view (and ad view, of course) always counts when user clicks to see another tiny but of the content).
  41.
  42. Any way content is king so try with multiple pages and improve the internal linking structure it will be good.

  45. Hi
  46. What's the best practice, having a lot of content on the same page or split it?
  47. Let's say you have a page with:
  48. Pictures, Description(1K words), Faq, Q/A...
  49. all the content is in the same topic,
  50. Would you split that content into multiple pages and interlink between them, or put all the content on the same page?
  51. I like doing both, large articles with multiple pages linking in a silo manner. Or try doing "chapters", so you can link and redirect traffic :)
  52.
  53. When you overload the content in single page, the page load time will be slow, might frustrate users and increase your site bounce rate, less insight from google analytics with all your content stuffed into single page, not a good practice..better to go with multipage with many internal links.
  54. Ever heard of lazy load? Christ, the experts.
  55. Pictures, Description(1K words), Faq, Q/A...
  56. I definitely wouldn't split 1K words into more. That's a minimum I would go for for a single page that I would like to have ranked, unless it's some fodder.
  57. Even though I granulate the articles lately, I still have better experience with the super long articles. But the kw research for 10 - 15K word articles is pain in the ass.
  58.
  59. if it's just 1 k word no don't. but you need to add more info content for you main content
  60. ?
  61.
  62. Try to match the user intent, if 1k words are enough to cover the topic then don't add more content just for the sake of the word count.
  63.
  64. Single page with all the information will be good one
  65.
