  1. Hi there, thanks for ordering a reading! At the moment, I notice that 2 deities are quite interested in you (Hestia and Hermes), but Hestia really stands out to me as the main interest!

  3. In general, prayer should definitely be used to communicate with the deities. I have found that this is mostly important for Hestia, who strongly appreciates prayer in addition to a constant devotion. Lighting candles or a fireplace in your home is a great way to initiate a connection with Hestia! She is a goddess of the hearth and home, and is therefore present in your homestead quite often. In my experience, genuine, thoughtful prayer to Hestia is a great way to communicate with Her. You can use Her Orphic Hymn to initiate a prayer. Before and after you eat, be sure to pray to Hestia and thank Her for Her protection. Finally, cooking is a wonderful way to communicate with Her. You can easily devote breads and other baked goods in Her honor. Ultimately, I feel like Hestia contacted you because She sees you as a very valuable, level-headed person.

  5. For a Hellenist, constant worship of Hestia should definitely be a part of your everyday routine. There are many opportunities every day to worship Her, especially in domestic activities like cooking, cleaning, and other similar actions. Hestia is the protector of your home, and by extension, your family. One common ritual that you can perform for Hestia is to create a large fire that will burn for a while. You will first cleanse with khernips and pray to call for Her favor. Then, cleanse a piece of paper before writing a difficulty on it. You will then place the paper in the fire, allow it to burn, and then cleanse yourself with khernips and incense to return to the physical world. You should end the ritual with another, closing prayer to Her. I definitely recommend keeping a prayer book for each deity that you choose to worship.

  7. I notice that Hermes is quite receptive of your practicality and efficiency of communication with others, and would be interested in working with you in your daily life. Hermes strongly appreciates shrines, offerings, and places of worship. Offering coins you find on the ground to Hermes can be one of the best ways to establish a strong connection with Him! In addition, Hermes is associated with rabbits, strawberries, crocus flowers (saffron), dice, the number 4, citrine, and topaz. You can use these associations in a shrine, in rituals, or even incorporate them into your daily life. I personally like to do rituals for Hermes on Wednesdays, as they are His sacred days. (Especially if it falls on the 4th of a month!) Hermes, partially the god of communication, notices the way that you express yourself to others. I believe that a relationship would be very beneficial to the both of you! Hermes largely focuses on communication, and for that reason, he can help you convey your wishes and opinions effectively to others.
  8. Hermes is also associated with astrology and the night sky. A very good idea is to go stargazing and sketch the constellations you see, devoting your time and art to him. Even reading horoscope, drawing star charts, and doing different types of astrology work are great ways to connect with him! He appreciates the effort put into these things and will reward you accordingly. I often find that lighting frankincense at night, under the light of the moon, and praying to Him as long as you can is a very respectful and good way of communicating with Him. You can obviously combine this with the aforementioned ideas—do it on a Wednesday, in a ring of crocus flowers, while holding citrine/topaz, etc. Hope this reading was insightful!
