➙ BACKGROUND:

	Haven, summarized as one word would be quiet. Ever since she was little, she rarely ever made a noise (including crying!). Her parents would constantly try to get a tantrum out of her little body to no avail… As she grew and grew, she would constantly face people who would try to get a scream of frustration or a plea of annoyance but once again, with no result. Her fellow peers began to accept her quietness and shyness and understood that she’ll only open to people with whom she feels comfortable with. The only reason why people weren’t terrified of her lies in her frequent angelic smiles and laughs. Despite observing everything, one would assume that Haven would be hard to please but that’s quite the opposite. One could always tells that Haven was in a room was because of her distinct light and airy laugh. Due to observing well in class, Haven had above-average grades. Though no one but her parents knew. Haven made a habit early one to study and complete homework straight when she got home (although there would be instances where she procrastinated.) Despite having good grades, her teachers often thought that Haven was a cold and bored child and talked to her parents often about their concern’s only to be told that Haven is simply observant and shy. Outside of school, Haven diligently played and found solace in the gorgeous notes that came from her fingers. Thus, was the birth of her love for music. As Haven fell more and more in love with, so did spectators with her voice. Her parents often begged her to play the piano and sing at her school’s talent show just to be met with a stern “no.” During 8th grade, her parents offered her to take vocal training (they assumed that she’d probably become an idol one day) and Haven seized the chance immediately. As she gained more confidence in her voice, she performed more and more at local contests. Due to her shyness, Haven only had a small-circle of friends that she could trust and let loose with. She preferred it that way.  Her parents knew how important it was for Haven to have friends and for her to hang out with them so they almost never rejected when Haven asked if she could go somewhere with her friends. Haven is grateful for still keeping in touch with them despite being half-way across the globe.

➙ PERSONALITY:

Haven as mentioned before, prefers to listen than speak. She always has this anxiety within her that she’ll say or do something that will get her into trouble. And sometimes it does. (See weakness/flaws.) However as much as Haven is shy, she’s just as easy to please. Anything and everything can make her laugh which she’s thankful for because people don’t see her as uninterested / cold after she laughs. Because of Haven’s constant giggles, she can often get into trouble because of her inappropriate timing with the laughter. When that happens, Haven retracts into her timid shell and doesn’t laugh for a while, fearing she’ll do something wrong. Haven reacts the same way whenever she’s called out by an authority; she doesn’t show any emotions and does exactly what is asked because she’s afraid of disappointing people again. Eventually, she warms up again and the members sigh in relief that their dear Haven is back. In terms of how quickly Haven completes tasks; she understands that quality is better than quantity and so she reflects on this by trying to put more effort into tasks in order to please more people. In the dorms, Haven doesn’t make the first move in terms of cuddling in another member’s bed or asking them to play a game but she’ll definitely appreciate it when someone makes the first move and will open up to them more in the future. If said member keeps making the first move, Haven will eventually do it herself. This doesn’t apply to just the members though. If someone keeps showing interest in Haven, she’ll eventually open up to them more. In the dorms, Haven completes her chores without much complaint however if she’s feeling tired and ill she’ll perform some aegyo for the members in hope of them doing it for her. Whenever other members come to Haven for advice, she prides herself in being the one who provides the best advice. Due to years and years of observing, Haven is pretty skilled in giving advice that will solve problems. If they don’t want advice, Haven is 100% willing to just be a good listener for her members to relieve stress.
