Jeffrey Roe obtained a B.Eng from Dublin City University in Digital
Media Engineering. Whilst at college, he was awarded a prestigious
internships in Google where he worked as a Site Reliability Engineer
on various projects he also worked in DCU as a researcher in the area of
assistive technology on the ahvited project. After graduating he was
recruited as a Software Engineer by Telclic Limited who primarily develop web application solutions and are responsible for the rollout of coin-less parking system in
Ireland.

Whilst studying Jeffrey co-founded 'TOG' Ireland’s first Hackerspace.
This is where he spends any free time he has. Experimenting with
microcontrollers, completing projects such as binary clocks, robots,
3D tracking systems and home automation are just some of his
interests. As part of his role at TOG, Jeffrey has given workshops and
talks on electronics, free software, hackerspaces and most recently
TOG was invited to Electric Picnic to set up a workshop which
attracted people of all ages and was a major success.
