- Jeffrey Roe obtained a B.Eng from Dublin City University in Digital
- Media Engineering. Whilst at college, he was awarded a prestigious
- internships in Google where he worked as a Site Reliability Engineer
- on various projects he also worked in DCU as a researcher in the area of
- assistive technology on the ahvited project. After graduating he was
- recruited as a Software Engineer by Telclic Limited who primarily develop web application solutions and are responsible for the rollout of coin-less parking system in
- Ireland.
- Whilst studying Jeffrey co-founded 'TOG' Ireland’s first Hackerspace.
- This is where he spends any free time he has. Experimenting with
- microcontrollers, completing projects such as binary clocks, robots,
- 3D tracking systems and home automation are just some of his
- interests. As part of his role at TOG, Jeffrey has given workshops and
- talks on electronics, free software, hackerspaces and most recently
- TOG was invited to Electric Picnic to set up a workshop which
- attracted people of all ages and was a major success.
