  1. - Each move has a charge time. Perform it once, the move charges, and it's limited based on a move rarity. The rarity is based on how powerful it is. Example would be Tackle could take just 5 seconds to charge after a usage. Easy to learn move, would be less powerful than its regular game's. (TBRPG - Power of 50. ARPG - Power of 10), but a move like Electroweb would take about 12 seconds to charge after a use. Simpler to understand, but is limited to certain Pokemon (like Galvantula). Finally, a move like Hyper Beam that has a cool down period; 30 seconds to charge, 10 of those staying still. Harder to use and get a grasp to, but can be a massive change in battle if executed correctly.
  2. - As said above Power Points would still be in effect. The more Power Points it has, the less of a charge time it has, but most likely the less of a power it has as well.
  3. - Trainers can help influence battle through the use of Items (as Normal) or Cheering. However, item usage causes a Pokemon to stay still for a certain period of time, depending on trainer's distance from the Pokemon. After all, they can't be moving for the item to be used. If the trainer is accidentally hit by the opposing Pokemon as it uses an item, they'll run away back to their origin position, resting up a bit from the damage. Cheering gives Pokemon a slight boost in power and makes them happy towards the Trainer. Won't change the tide of battle, but would help with friendship growth.
  4. - Status moves are now more temporary in the battle, but multiple ones can be inflicted at once to allow for more strategy and to help change some situations.
  5. - Switch outs will also be limited, having their own charge time.
  6. - You can choose any Pokemon to start a battle in the party at the beginning of a Wild Battle. In a trainer battle, first Pokemon in your team goes first.
  7. I looked at multiple people who had complaints about the franchise and ideas for changing it into an ARPG, with minor tweaks to their improvements to allow for better usage.
