She snaps out of her daydreaming to turn and give him a salute as he runs off.

For a second Bibi's well and truly worried she hit the poor guy until it becomes clear the roll was a calculated move. She gives him a little bit of applause for it.

"Aimin' for the trial captain position huh? You've definitely got the reflexes for it, and more than double the heart it sounds like! Tough work for suresies, but I'm rooting for ya!... But oh man, Alola's league system sure is a big change of pace from Paldea's, not that that's a bad thing though. I hear some wild things about Totem Pokemon, kinda reminds me of some Pokemon I had run ins with who grew wayyy bigger 'n stronger than normal cuz of their diets, but I can go into that some other time I guess! After all, you'll likely be seeing more of me when you end up becoming a captain. As for this one...."

She hops off her companion and lets it stand tall and proud...Before its image of pride and elegance breaks as it leans over to give its trainer an affectionate lick.

"This is Koraidon! Though I tend to just call em 'rairai', the species is one from the diiiiiiiiistant past, like, way, way, WAY back. Like, cavemen discovering fire by rubbing sticks together levels of old. They kinda look like Cyclizar if it were more....Fight-y I suppose? More dragon-y in my opinion too, and I feel like I would know, I've trained a bunch of both types! I suppose you could compare rairai to fossil Pokemon, but they don't really have those in Paldea so I can't say for sure."

She watches him flail around and do his little mock wails puffing out her cheeks and crossing her arms in annoyance. So maybe he got her the first time he did that....Ok fine the first few times they did this but she knew better by now!

She does cringe a little when he mentions getting held back a year though.

"Adult schmadult anyone can see the fun of a good battle!!! And knock it off you're like, the youngest guy on staff here, no wayyyyy you mentored Kingu. That is, unless you're secretly an old geezer with some miracle skin routine in which case me and Rairai will do our best to convince Director Clavell to install a couple stairlifts to spare your brittle old bones."

Orchis' grin goes completely unnoticed by her as she peers at the his rotomphone's screen with her mouth agape, practically ripping off her glasses and frantically cleaning them to make sure her eyes weren't playing tricks on her. There was simply no way that was who she thought it was.....Was it?

Watching the Kommo-o prowl around the arena confirms it for her, but really there was no mistaking who she was looking at even without the matching Pokemon.

Was Bibi smart enough to put two and two together about the man in front of her? Not nearly. But she could never mistake the moves of her rival anywhere, from the hair, to the attack patterns, to the distinctive way she held her tera orb.

Bibi collapses to her knees and starts ruffling her hair in frustration.

"MIERCOLES! I cant BELIEVE she never told me!!!! Auuugh and they work so well together too.....I don't know who to be *more* jealous of....And an all out match between dragons? That's so hype...."
