Dear Sir/Madam,

I have a strong passion for equities; I manage my own successful portfolio and love to actively research and trade stocks. One such example is PUDA coal which I bought put options in earlier this year and the company has since been halted by the SEC and is being investigated for fraud. I have also since reported my research on another company to Citron research who has since published a negative report on the company.

I also took part in the Fidelity Portfolio challenge, which is open to everyone in the UK and which I finished 2nd overall. For this I was invited over to their offices on several occasions to discuss job opportunities and to meet their senior staff. I was also featured in the Daily Mail regarding my investments in gold and the challenge.

In the future I plan to work on the sell-side and I feel that working for Goldman Sachs on a spring week placement would give me some great insight and also allow me to express some of my own ideas.
