  1. Dear Corsair,
  2.
  3. Recently i build the pc with the parts i just listed, it is very stable and works great, but...
  4. Whenever i want to boot up my pc without having to get a bluescreen when windows launches i have to do a "MemOK" procedure that's part of my overclockers mainboard.
  5. The MemOK function uses a AI to search for optimal memory configurations, though for some reason i have to redo it during every boot in order to avert a BSOD.
  6. I tried applying the timings in the bios by hand (8-8-8-24) but it still is not enough to make my computer boot and perform stable.
  7.
  8. The motherboard is capable of setting very a large amount parameters for the memory though aside from the 4 values that are listed everywhere i have no clue of what the other values should be.
  9. My guess is that in the default settings the memory isnt adressed correctly which result in bluescreens.
  10.
  11. I'll try to list the the options i have in my bios (with the bios DEFAULT values next to them):
  12.
  13. DRAM Frequency: 1237Mhz
  14.
  15. Timing based configurations:
  16.
  17. CAS Latency 8
  18. RAS to CAS Delay 8
  19. RAS PRE Time 8
  20. RAS ACT Time 24
  21. READ to PRE Time 4
  22. Row Cycle Time 27
  23. Write Recovery Time 8
  24. RAS to RAS delay 4
  25.
  26. READ to WRITE Delay 8
  27. WRITE to READ Delay (DD) 10
  28. WRITE to READ Delay (SD) 4
  29. WRITE to WRITE Timing 3
  30. READ to READ Timing 3
  31. REF Cycle Time 110
  32. Refresh Rate 7.8
  33. Command rate 1T
  34.
  35. Driving Configurations:
  36.
  37. DCT0 info:
  38. CKE drive strength 1.5X
  39. CS/ODT drive strength 1.5X
  40. ADDR/CMD drive strength 1.5X
  41. MEMCLK drive strength 1.5X
  42. Data drive strength 1X
  43. DQS drive strength 1X
  44. Processor ODT 60ohms
  45. DCT1 info:
  46. CKE drive strength 1.5X
  47. CS/ODT drive strength 1.5X
  48. ADDR/CMD drive strength 1.5X
  49. MEMCLK drive strength 1.5X
  50. Data drive strength 1X
  51. DQS drive strength 1X
  52. Processor ODT 60ohms
  53.
  54. Voltages:
  55.
  56. DRAM Voltage 1.65
  57. VDDR Voltage 1.205
  58. DRAM CTRL REF Voltage 0.5
  59. DRAM DATA REF Voltage 0.5
  60.
  61. I hope that its possible to find the flaw in the configuration, or to determine if i have faulty memory.
  62. The strange thing is, whenever i used the MemOK the computer wil run super stable, running for over several weeks (and going through several prime95 torture tests) without any crashes or hangups, so thats why i dont thing the memory isnt faulty.
  63.
  64. Also my computer is being cooled properly by a Corsair H50 CPU cooler and a Corsair Airflow DDR cooler, housed in a 800D case.
  65. With four 120mm Noctua fans and a two 140mm Corsair fans controlled by a NZXT Sentry LX fancontroller unit.
  66. So heat wouldnt be a issue.
  67.
  68. Memtest did gave me errors if both memory banks were present, the amount was a five figure number, after one pass.
  69. Though if i tested them one by one in slot 1 they didnt show any errors after one pass
  70. In slot 3 (the one linked to slot1) i got 25 errors after one pass
  71.
  72. Regards,
  73.
  74. Miss Stabby (in the official one is my real name actually)
