- recommended bindings:
- primary fire - mouse1 - standard light attack, repeated presses combos attack
- secondary fire - mouse2 - heavy attack, hold to fully charge.
- zoom - Q - shoot your gun
- user1 - F - use blood vials, heals 40% hp
- user2 - G - generate blood bullets, +5 bullets for 30% hp cost
- reload - R - does nothing except light up lil button on screen
- mechanics:
- items - the health and ammo pickups require the player to press "+use" on them to pick up
- parrying - shoot your gun at an enemy during their attack phase to stun them
- visceral attack - if an enemy is stunned you can perform a super powerful attack by pressing "primary fire" up close
- backstab - fully charged heavy attack will stun an enemy if hit from behind, can perform a visceral after stunning
- rally - if you are damaged, you have a short period of time to regain health by attacking foes, orange bar designates rally
- current skill also affects the amount of time you have before rally drains
- blood echoes - granted upon slaying an enemy, the counter in the upper right - currently useless. viscerals and bosses grant extra

- dodging - tapping the "+speed" key and a movement direction will cause the player to dodge, during this time the player has
- frames of invincibility and projectiles will pass through.
