Since she was a child, she is closer to her father than to her mother. She always feel that her mother always spoiled her brother while being extra strict toward her. Her mother is always being more dicipline and more demanding to her rather than to her brother. So since she was child, she is always timid and does everything to please her mother.
But after all, her mother is the one who strongly against her decision to be an idol even after she passed the global audition. It was hard to get a permission from her, but because her father already permitted her, she can go to Korea to be an idol.
