Late one night in autumn dark
The Rook flew near and low again.
Despair and sorrow deep, profound
again 'mong Glitchen taken reign.

Hours came and went anew
but then a memory arose:
A woman wise with years and life
had said to me "let us suppose"

- That it is true what have been said:
- Tomorrow truly never comes!
- This may sound gloom and sad indeed
and some may well to this succumb"


"But don't forget", she said to me
- Tomorrow mayn't at all be due,
- But as the sun goes down and up:
- You know today begins anew.
