- First I updated my apt lists to this:
- ## EOL Upgrade sources.list
- # Required
- deb http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ hardy main restricted universe multiverse
- deb http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ hardy-updates main restricted universe multiverse
- deb http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ hardy-security main restricted universe multiverse
- # Optional
- #deb http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ hardy-backports main restricted universe multiverse
- #deb http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ hardy-proposed main restricted universe multiverse
- This did not work, 404 errors abound. Then I downloaded the 10.04 cd to try a local update using the CD. This is failing due to the following errors:
- "Traceback (most recent call last):
- File "/tmp/tmp.IiVtll5337/lucid", line 3, in <module>
- from DistUpgradeMain import main
- File "/tmp/tmp.IiVtll5337/DistUpgradeMain.py", line 25, in <module>
- import apt
- ImportError: No module named apt
- I think this is related to the python-apk package being missing, but I have been unsuccessful in getting this installed.
