  1. Isn't it wonderful having an inappropriate boss? The kind who shoves you into an something cute anf fluffy - In this case a green dress that fluffs out at the waist, with pink tuille underneath - And then escorts you out of your normal reality and into another before you have a chance to see the cute little wings it has on the back. And yet, here, the dreams that infuse the decayed parking lot of Skyn give the four little fairy wings an animated sense of life. No lift, but still. Behind them, the manor is sunken into the ground, a dark and lustful scar upon the earth, rumbling in a bassy rhythm. The elegantly robed, beautiful Sidhe pressed a basket into Toni's hands, and steers her off to the side, east and south. Away from the trod that begins with her driveway. Away from the path. And yet, even for those sensitive to it, there's no feeling like wandering away from the silver, onto the soft, ankle-high grass out here, the grounds of the manor Skyn replaced are the same as they've always been. As if they'd been anchored in place. There's a feeling of... Safety, here.
  2.
  3. Toni was busy complaining. She really was. Her mouth ran away with her as those little wings fluttered and flittered behind her, frustration boiling over as her legs trotted along to keep up with the longer-limbed Noble "... and s'bloody cold and it's fall now and aside from feeling like I'm gonna bloody take off it's ..." Before she trails off, looking around. She carried the basket, idly swinging it. A proper little riding hood! And she sniffs a touch, as she looks at the manor, at that safety "Mmph. Not sure what to make of that" She mutters grudgingly
  4.
  5. Basket opened, once they're a few hundred meters away from the fallen mansion. The dark dreams of those within had to do something to the building, didn't they? Skyn isn't a place of light hearted thoughts. It's a place of shameful desires, and that clings to it. Up a little hill, the Sidhe remains silent until they get to the top. It was getting late when they left... And from this little hill, they have a nice view of the grass, of the dreaming-club, and even of the dreaming-city itself. From the basket, Jeri lays out of a blanket, and then relieves Toni of the basket and pushes her down until she sits... Before sitting beside her, and withdrawing two glasses, and a bottle of moonwine from within - Delightfully sweet, and glamourrich, the silvery fluid is poured into their glasses before one is offered to Toni.
  6.
  7. Toni takes the glass, but doesn't sit, settling on the blanket and making an irritable sound as that skirt floofs around her, the tulle framing the green delightfully. And then snuggled up to, by Jericho, over the fabric and pinning her down. She sighs, and closes her eyes, leaning back against the Sidhe and sipping the silvery liquid wordlessly
  8.
  9. Finally, he speaks. "I've got started on what I said I was going to do." Jericho places a kiss upon her cheek, and then sips his own wine cautiously. "I was going to drag you out to the spawning fields to enjoy this but... The first time you see that can be a bit scary, instead of sweet. So I just thought I'd extend the path out here, for when I build my new home. How goes your efforts, Toni?" He smiles, warmly, placing a hand upon her thigh, remaining close to her.
  10.
  11. "They're going. Working on that first suit for you" Toni mutters, twisting around to glance irritably at the little fluttering wings on her ridiculous dress. She huffs, and sips again, leaning back against Jericho "This ain't bad. What're you wanting to throw up this side?"
  12.
  13. "What else? A castle, my dear." Jeri murmurs, his fingers wandering down the back of Toni's green dress, delighting in how uncomfortable the Nocker looks. At least her make-up hasn't been done for once, right? "Although what form that takes, I haven't decided yet. A floating castle could be fun, but without enough people to man it, is just a beacon for /trouble/. I'm more interested in your own adventures, and when I can help you with them like I promised. Otherwise, it seems like you just made that offer as an excuse to stick around me." And who would do such a thing? Jericho smiles indulgently, beyond beautiful within the Dreaming.
  14.
  15. Something else is visible from their little hillock. A human - Or humanoid - thing that is wandering the long grass here. A friend who Jericho had invited through earlier - And the reason why Toni might have seen a third glass resting within her basket.
  16.
  17. Toni just sighs and shifts on the blanket, sat with her legs out and the short green skirt of her dress splayed over pink tulle. It's a very ... twee dress, on the skinny, irritable Nocker. She sips again, musing and thinking and turning it all over in her mind "Y'could probably do worse'n a single tower. A decent keep, y'know?"
  18.
  19. When La Moneda had gotten the invitation for a picnic, of all things, she was more than eager to participate. Especially if it meant being more like herself. She's managing the terrain with beasial ease, golden skin glinting in the light. Her dress is scant, and burgundy in color, supported only by the cloth strap around her neck and allowing plenty of room for her equine thighs to move. She carries her own woven basket, home baked goodies offered to add to their little gathering. "Buenos Dias!" She gushes, mule's ears twitching as she waves and saunters over.
  20.
  21.
  22. "I thought of a traditional keep, but... Y'know. Kind of ugly. Makes me seem like a villain, doesn't it? Or a flower. Thing is, I'm not here to burn your shit to the ground or cure your plague. I'm here to take what I can, find out what I can, do what I can, and enjoy myself as much as possible along the way. I'm gonna carve out my own little chunk of the world for me and mine, and if we find out about Summer, or Winter in our journeys? Awesome. If we spread glamour, reignite belief? Great. If someone's life gets ruined along the way? Who fucking cares." Jericho places a gentle kiss upon Toni's cheek, "And you're coming with me, arentcha?" A hand slowly slides up her thigh, feeling up under that pink tuille as he whispers. "Because I'll give you everything you need, and you'll want for nothing but /more/ of me." Oh. It's happening. A gentle press of the Sidhe's body, and a flutter of her wings as he seems like he's about to seal the deal at last... Only to hear a familiar voice.
  23.
  24. As his wings gather behind him again, things for Jeri couldn't look more innocent. A glass of silvery wine, a hand upon the knee of an employee who is wearing a VERY cute dress. "Raquel. You're looking beautiful." Sayeth the radiant Sidhe, who offers her glass to the woman. "Meet Toni, a good friend of mine."
  25.
  26. Toni wiggles her fingers up at Raquel, her cheeks red in that pale face, her eyes dark under white hair, above the thick red spirals in her cheeks. Nockers. "Ain't a fucking thing wrong with traditional keep design. Lasted hundreds of goddamn years and only nocker drek can take 'em down short of a bowling ball've trolls with bronzewood rams" She huffs irritably, the spirals thickening as Jericho whispers. Teases. And she looks away, those buzzing littlw wings flittering constantly
  27.
  28. "Toni, is is wonderful to meet you!" Yes, the metallic Mule-lady is delighted to meet new folks. She places her platinum hooves, that happen to match the furred thighs and the hair upon her head, evenly apart in such a way that she folds herself down with unnatural ease, basket in only one hand. The other reaches over to graciously take a glass from the mischevious Jericho. "I brought some snacks. I hope you don't mind!"
  29.
  30. "What is with you and wanting to put things in my mouth? It's so good to see you again." Jericho teases, collecting the third glass and pouring the last of the wine into it with no shortage of amusement - Leaning up to place a gentle kiss upon Raquel's lips, the mule-lady apparently well known. "So obviously, Toni wants me to live in some big stone building laughing maniacally during a thunderstorm, while she works away in a dungeon making tools wearing thick coveralls like some kind of forge-slave." He suggests, with a sharp smile that shows he's joking, for the most part. "What about you, Raquel? I need to make a home here. Something that'll stand up to people who think I'm a bad influence."
  31. --------- New Activity ---------
  32.
  33. "You are a terrible influence" Toni says with a huff "You know you are. You revel in it. So don't put that hard=done by expression on" Not that Toni could resist. Something about a sweet-eyed Sidhe that sends most commoners fluttering. She watches the small kiss and gives a little sniff "Shiny" She notes to the woman, nodding to her hooves and hair "You polish?" She asks, with a faint snicker
  34.
  35. "With cocoa butter and olive oil. Every day!" La Moneda isn't kidding when it comes to the care of her skin. She nibbles back against the Sidhe's lips, also nipping briefly before lounging and swirling the liquid within the glass. "If you are going to be a Villain, you need one of those moats full of molten lava, and balistae along the walls for those brave enough to manage and aerial assault." The Bygone winks playfully at Toni before she takes a sip.
  36.
  37. "Don't get the panties I forgot to put on you in a twist." Jericho teases Toni back, place a kiss against her cheek next, his cheeks stained by a blush. A sip of her drink, as she points out. "See, Raquel gets it. If I'm going to go villain, let me be terrifying. Make my castle a stone golem, a hundred meters tall, so I can smash my enemies while corrupting their wives - Or something, I dunno." The Sidhe snickers, and plucks at Toni's wings. "I thought they'd make her look cute."
  38. --------- New Activity ---------
  39.
  40. "Our friend enjoys irritating those around them" Toni mutters, twitching as the little buzzing wings are plucked. She smiles a ouch as Raquel lounges, trying to scoot and give the two room to settle, touch, as she sips her own wine "Why not, I guess? You strike me more as wanting a massive golem of yourself, though." A little mutter "With a dungeon where the heart is"
  41. --------- New Activity ---------
  42.
  43. Ohhhh, this 'employee' is a feisty one! La Moneda can't help but to grin wickedly after she's sampled her drink. "Aww, Jericho, you should have brought them with you! There is plenty of time to get Toni to try them on." She is just smiling, ear to ear, the idle swish of her tail makes it's presence known from the back.
  44.
  45. "Of, you'd love some of her outfits. I like to help her wear things that are a little more adventurous than her coveralls. She's a Flower, see, who just happened to fall into my lap." Jeri moves a little when Toni tries to escape - Sliding an arm around her waist and pulling /firmly/ to ensure that doesn't happen, "And now she's taken root, and can't grow without me." Which is an interesting way to think of it. "I could deal with that. Thank you for volunteering, Toni - think of it like Transformers, perhaps with more stone and glass than metal. Make sure there's a draft on my next by tomorrow morning, alright?" She chases her words with a kiss to the cheek, and a gentle whisper.
  46. You whisper “I do so love to show you off, Toni. You look so CUTE right now, little flower.” to Toni.
  47. --------- New Activity ---------
  48.
  49. Toni flails at the kiss to her cheek, but she can't hide her smile. Approval from the Sidhe is like a good warm bath for the soul, so for all she glowers, she still snuggles back softly against Jericho, muttering obscenities under her breath a moment before she "So how'd you meet the terror?" She asks Raquel, her elongated ears pink to the tips
  50.
  51. The lovely Fae pair are teasing each other, in their own little ways, and La Moneda can't help but be inspired in baser ways. "Well..." She balaces her glass carefully, only to reorient herself so that her own overly large picnic basket is placed to obscure her loosely dress covered lap from view. "I was on vacation from work, and wanted to see what Skyn was all about. I found this lovely creature tormenting a blind paraplegic virgin who had never had a drink before in his life! I ended up making sure poor Cassius got home safely."
  52.
  53. It's not often than anything like genuine embarassment crosses Jericho's face. She's shy, occasionally, but... "When you say it like that, I do sound like I belong in a dark room laughing maniacally." A pause, as she looks at Toni to see how she reacts to the revelation - Although it's probably not one. "To be fair, he'd come to a strip club, and he said he was interested in trying something new. I'd hardly calling offering him new experiences tormenting." The woman pauses. "Although The Terror does sound particularly bad-ass, as a name for a hundred meter tall stone me. Are you taking notes, Toni?"
  54. --------- New Activity ---------
  55.
  56. "I do have t' question why a blind paraplegic virgin even ended up at Skyns" Toni mutters a little "I mean, even I was looking for work" She notes primly, folding her hands into her lap, over the deep green of the skirts. She huffs a touch at the bygone, and wrinkles her nose, before shooting Jericho a sly glance "Gosh, I don't need to. That name comes naturally to mind whenever I think of you"
  57. [+WATCH] 01:12 pm: Amberlee has connected.
  58.
  59. La Moneda remembers the days from Before, where the pinkening of Jericho's cheeks would have merited an honest apology. She's no longer that naive creature. "Yes, he did have it coming to him. They often do." Toni is protesting in her own fashion, and is probably wishing she were elbow deep in one of her numerous projects. "Toni, would you like a tea cake?"
  60.
  61.
  62. "I thought when you think of me you just moan a little." Jericho muses, "Or have a suspiciously long shower." Oh yes, the two seem to delight in baiting eachother, even infront of company. Such is her way though. "Not that I can blame you. After we've been together, I get excited just thinking about me too." The Sidhe laughs in sincere delight then, and looks across to Raquel. "So I'm guessing you're liking taking a break from the opression of the Mundane World once in a while then?" A pause, and a touch of Toni's thigh follows, "Raquel is a True Creature of Myth, sweetling. An ancient Reverie."
  63.
  64. "So?" Toni asks with surprising bluntness "Glad to see you still making it out there. After these fuckers fucked off to fucking fairyland, got fucking hard" She tells Raquel, landing a very mild elbow on Jericho as she continues to squrim and try to wriggle herself free. Then she nods, reluctantly, at the offer "Sure. Sounds good" She mutters
  65.
  66. "Si!" Yes, every little bit of time away from psychological oppresion made manifest is a breath of fresh air. Jericho is waxing poetic about La Moneda's existence, which only serves to go to her head as a cotton cloth bag is fished out carefully. When her fingers delve inside, it pulls out a rather oblong little pastry, covered in powdered sugar as she leans to offer it to poor Toni. "This recipe is for a Russian Tea Cake."
  67.
  68. Jericho does seem suprised but not 'shocked' by any stretch of the imagination. She knows the effect she has on people. She however, is /not/ offered a teacake, and so 'ows' at the elbow to her hips and stares at Toni. "Hey, for all we know you guys fucked up Arcadia. How do my kind get all the shit for doing /nothing but talk/ but get blamed for /all the bad stuff/." Sarcastic, but pleasant.
  69.
  70. Toni takes the offered snack, powdered sugar drifting from it and speckling her dress as she hold it rather delicately "Looks kinda sweet" She mutters, before gingerly lifting it to her lips and taking a small bite. Those teeth are sharp, those eyes are dark, and just for a moment there's a fraction of the strange goblin-like creature Nockers are ... before again, that prissy little thing wriggling in the ridiculous dress. And another bite, and another "Don't blame us. We're not fucking FROM Arcadia. We've got our own shit" She huffs. Spraying sugar
  71.
  72. What mysterious secrets lie within the pixie-dress clad engineer, hmm? It's that hint that causes La Moneda to stare in abject fascination. Until the Prince gets all fussy. "And a treat for you..." Toni only got offered one first, because she had vocalized it first. The Bygone would do well to remember to soothe Jericho's nerves. Powdery sugar covers the Prince's lower lip, as La Moneda offers it.
  73.
  74. Jericho slowly leans in, reaching his tongue out for the pastry, and a touch of the bygone, before he draws it inbetween his lips and chews lightly, with a smile. "Hmn. Well, you both seem like you have lots to gossip about. For me, well..." She sighs, "I've got to go for a wander a bit deeper. If you were a little more free, darling, I'd try and find that saddle." A snap of her fingers, and the Sidhe Prince just... Vanishes. So abruptly.
  75. --------- New Activity ---------
  76.
  77. And Toni just sprawls, leaning on Jericho as the Sidhe vanishes, tumbling with a squawk of "Bugger!" Before she straightens herself, brushign things down and finishing the little snack. "Hate it when he bloody does that" She grumps. Then another look to Raquel, a slightly wary smile "Y'a decent cook" The rake-thin woman says
  78. --------- New Activity ---------
  79.
  80. La Moneda was having a grand old time, watching the two bicker like they've known each other forever. When Jericho decides to spirit himself away, however, those rose-golden mule's ears flatten in dissappointment. Leaving the tempermental Knocker in the Bygone's clutches is just -begging- for trouble. She downs the rest of her glass, before putting it away in the Fae's picnic basket and then sitting up with her own between her legs. "Gracias! You know, I have more!" Her clawed hands reach inside, somehow managing not to destroy everything in their path. A carved wooden box is retreived, opening to reveal finger sandwiches.
  81.
  82. "Dunno if Jer's shown you the place they had built under Skyns" Toni mutters "Stuffed me down there, out of the way. Ain't complaining - I like working and the privacy, y'know?" She reaches for another finger sandwich hesitantly, letting herself be fed
