"Ugh, we running low on cash, old friend..."

 

"So? Just use the Blank Card!"

 

"Master Morgan's been complaining about the bills, so we have to keep the spending on that one low."

 

Griffin and Grouge were in the Beach House going over their yearly spending and earnings (at least they think is't yearly, time flows differently for each world) and discovered that not only were their funds seriously low, they also discovered that they've been using the Blank Card too much and a block was placed on it by Master Morgan.

 

"So what now?" Grouge asked, "We gotta have SOME cash on us."

 

"We have $1,000 between the both of us, most of it with me." Griffin replied, "And with the Gems giving me less missions that can give me the chance to go treasure-hunting, we gotta start looking for jobs."

 

As the duo start to discuss plans on how to get the needed funds, Steven walked into the room and greeted them.

 

"Hi, guys!" Steven said to them in a chipper tone, "What are you guys doing?"

 

"Just going over our finances," Griffin replied as he leafed through some receipts, "Apparently we've been spending more money than we we have taking it in."

 

"Oh..." Steven said, "What you guys going go do?"

 

"We're going to get jobs." Griffin said as he started to pair up receipts based on the month they were printed, "The Gems have been giving me fewer missions and Grouge is just being lazy."

 

Steven watched as Griffin and Grouge talked between each other and thought about how they could get some work. He thought about how Griffin and Grouge helped people in Beach City several times and suddenly realized that they had the means to make some money already!

 

"Guys, why don't you ask the people in town if they need some help?" Steven asked, "You've already done a lot when it comes to helping people, so I'm sure they'll help you out!"

 

Griffin nodded as he listened to Steven's idea and it had its merits, he knew full well that helping out the citizens of Beach City made them more open to the idea of the two them being a part of their daily lives. He postulated that because of all this, it'd be easy to get work. But because of the possibility of being asked to go on a mission or if the Heartless decide to attack, it needed to be small-time work that he could easily finish in a day or two. He then remembered that he still had some old flyers he printed while he was back home in his backpack.

 

"Steven, can you do me a big favor?" Griffin asked.

 

"Of course!" Steven replied, "What is it?"

 

Griffin quickly dug for the flyers, these needed to go out as soon as possible. He found them shortly after and bound them together with a binder clip.

 

"Can you put these up around town?" Griffin said as he handed the flyers to Steven, "They're old handyman flyers that I made when I was home a couple of months ago, never thought that they'd ever be useful until now."

 

Steven took the flyers and nodded, he was happy to help.

 

"No prob, Bob!" Steven said, "I'll put 'em up all over town!"

 

Steven ran towards the door and left through the front door, now all they to do was wait until the calls came in. Well... All Griffin had to do was wait. Grouge had other plans on how to make money.

 

"You can bust your ass working for chimp change, hoss," Grouge said as he made his way towards the bathroom, "I'm gonna go and do what I do best."

 

"If it involves you wearing a dress, shanking people, and stealing their wallets try not to get caught by the fuzz this time!" Griffin shouted to Grouge as he left, "I'm not bailing you out like last time!"

 

Grouge simply threw a fist in the air; he knew that Griffin would bail him out due to how dangerous he would be to the other inmates.
