  1. Ingredients: 1 package of bacon, 1 lbs ground beef (80% lean), Salt, Pepper, Muenster Cheese/
  2. Any other desired toppings such as Ketchup, Pickles, Wasabi, Jalapeno Slices, Tomato, Onions, Lettuce, Okaka, Avocado, Mustard, Siracha, Tonkatsu Sauce, etc.
  3. Brioche hamburger buns.
  4.
  5. Preparation: Shape beef into patties with divots; should be concave discs. Season with salt and pepper on both sides. Pull out bacon; at least two slices per burger you intend to make. Remember that burgers will expand as you cook them; make thinner then you want the result to be.
  6.
  7. Step 1: Cook bacon in cast iron skillet greased with small amount of butter, on medium-high heat. Hickory smoked thick-cut bacon is preferable, but the exact type is not important. Set aside once done.
  8.
  9. Step 2A: Cook burger patties in same skillet at bacon, without washing the skillet. Do not add more butter or oil. Divoted side down first; should cook for 3.5 minutes on one side, before flipping once.
  10.
  11. Step 2B: In seperate skillet, lightly toast buns on medium heat, with burger side facing down for extra crispiness. Should take less then a minute per bun. Remove to plate after toasted.
  12.
  13. Step 3: Cook the burgers for 2 more minutes on opposite side, then add a piece of muenster cheese to top of burger while in the skillet to allow it to melt.
  14.
  15. Step 4: Place burger on toasted buns. Snap bacon slices into halves, and layer in a cross pattern on the burger, plus other desired condiments. Eat while hot.
