(Kurtis moves forward, jittered)
Kurtis: I d-didn’t mean to unsettle you. I… I just felt like I had to keep an eye on you.
Katarina: *laugh* Trust me, Kurtis, it takes much more to unsettle me. I have seen far worse than a hesitant onlooker. Did you like what you saw?
Kurtis: Well I… You see… uh… I was just wondering if you were free… What I mean is…
Katarina: … Well, duty calls, soldier boy. Maybe next time we can have a more thorough engagement. Bye~ (Katarina leaves)

Katarina: Well, don’t stop now. (Katarina moves in much closer as Kurtis turns around.) What’s the flower called?
Kurtis: Ka-Ka-Katarina! Why are you here?
Katarina: Oh no, I’m not going to let you end your solo. You had me entranced; plunged a feeling so fierce into my being! I insist you continue this pleasure I was so rudely taken from and allow me release.
Kutris: If you are going to make fun of me, at least do it in a way that leaves me less confused. If this is your way of getting back at me for-
Katarina: (Moves CLOSER) Look at me. Gaze and see if I’m merely stroking your ego.
Kurtis: ! (Kurtis turns around and runs)
Katarina: Get back here, Kurtis! We are NOT done here. (Katarina follows.)

Katarina: Well, isn’t this tête-à-tête a bit awkward. Look Kurtis, let’s just for-
Kurtis: Katarina, I want to come with you after this war is over.
Katarina: -get… Excuse me?
Kurtis: D-did I say ?
Katarina: No…maybe a little. A part of me is just surprised hearing this after we’ve been avoiding each other at camp ever since… that time.  Why now?
Kurtis: I haven’t met someone who … well, who showed such a strong and … vivid attraction ever. I mean, we may have different reasons, but I think it’s something I shouldn’t try to run from nor push away.
Katarina: *chuckle* Oh, Kurtis. (comes closer) Just say it~
 Kurtis: *inhale* *exhale* I want to see if we can be together. We both have wants and I don’t want to lose this chance to… someone else. I want you.
Katarina: …Well, luckily for you, I want you too.  Just be careful what you wish for, Kurtis. I tend to be a very… aggressive companion when it comes to heated moments. You may be left yearning for more rest in the coming future.
