so far, pagi overthrown by (????/warring clan??). 2 brothers flee. incorporate possible chasing of (color here)white boar. brother#1 (ebony) is next in line warchief - brother#2 is training for priest position.

pagi culture:
tribal council, equal male/female deportments. council of 4 called the aeduinn(insert better name here?). tribal council made of four counterparts that act as a single head: druid priest[ess], elected elder, war-chief, and watcher(Outrider?). all titles are by public appointment & permanent until death/dishonor (?). not overtly militaristic, but has history of raid on any encroaching threats. worship: practiced animism, ascribing characteristics to inanimate objects. worship of animals, particularly the pale boar-god (name here: insubra??). worship offerings included the following: (fasting?) careful arrangement of flora, occasional kills, and heads(s?) of usurpers or encroachers. belief of omens and malcontent spirits. bad omens included a ferrous-colored elk (name here), and a solid shadow the shape of a bear called (name here). it was believed those two were dishonor & death respectively.
