  1. Biggest change is Sargeras' Gaze which will happen through out the entire fight.
  2. When this goes out, Sargeras will apply Sargeras' Rage and Sargeras' Fear to non-tank players.
  3. With Fear the player gets a circle/blue debuff. Someone has to stack with them at all times our else they'll gain a stacking dot.
  4. With Rage it's basically the opposite. A player will get a square/red debuff. If someone stacks with them they get a stacking dot.
  5.
  6.
  7.
  8. Phase 1:
  9.
  10. DPS check here is super important because you want to push him to 70% before the 8th Tortured Rage.
  11. The reason for this is because of the sequencing of Soulburst/Soulbomb applications and Sargeras' Gaze during P2
  12. If you don't make this check and you get gazes during the transition. Argus will cast bomb/bursts before Gaze.
  13. This means players with the bomb debuff have to wait in the raid for the Gazes to go out so the players with Fear can get an escort out.
  14. Ideally you want Sargeras' Gaze to happen before Bomb/Bursts go out so you know who needs an escort.
  15. Raid wants to loosely spread around the boss right before Gaze goes out. Players with Sargeras Rage can't get targeted by Cone of Death.
  16.
  17.
  18. Phase 2:
  19.
  20. It's basically the same as heroic except with getting Sargeras' gaze now.
  21. Boss gets dragged to one end. Healer that gets bomb goes to the opposite end of the room, all the way in the back, with tank escort.
  22. DPS that get the Soulbursts go to opposite sides of the boss. If the people with Fear get a Soulburst, they need to be escorted out by someone.
  23.
  24.
  25. Phase 3:
  26.
  27. When Argus transitions at 40%. Everyone stacks together with Sargeras' Rage to quickly kill each other for potion timers.
  28.
  29. The first big mechanic during this phase is Edge of Annihilation. Argus spawns Blades at adjacent ends of the room with gaps in between them.
  30. The first side of blades will start spinning then zoom across the room. Then after that the second set of blades will start spinning then zoom across.
  31. In order to dodge them and not die: if raid are by the side of blades that spins first; stand next to them, wait for them to go, then move to where they were.
  32. If the raid is by the set that isn't spinning, stand on top of them, wait for the spinning set to zoom across, then get off them.
  33.
  34. The next big change in this phase is the orbs that spawn from when the tank gets hit by Soulrending Scythe. This is why guilds 3 tank.
  35. For every stack of the debuff the tank has, it'll spawn an additional orb.
  36. These orbs fixate towards random raid members. The 3rd tank runs around and eats them before they hit people.
  37.
  38. The next big change in this phase is the Apocalypse Module adds aka the orby bois that the raid kills.
  39. Instead of them spawning around the room, the modules will spawn at a random non-tank's location.
  40. When these modules die, the big circles they do in heroic will now leave death fog on the ground on mythic.
  41. Because of this, its important that we tank the boss at the edge of the room, near previous patches of death fog while the rest of the raid stacks behindhim in order to bait its position.
  42. It's super important that these die so they don't spawn giant circles.
  43. When the first module is about spawn, Doldra needs to die inside it and go down into the spirit realm in order to pick up titanforging orbs for the rest of the fight.
  44.
  45.
  46. The next, last, and biggest change of this phase is Sentence of Sargeras.
  47. Sargeras puts stake and chain on 3 random players. As long as the players have the chain debuff, they'll take 800k every half-second for 30 seconds.
  48. If a player moves 35 yards away from their stake that the chain is tethered to, they'll break it and apply Shattered Bonds to the entire raid.
  49. This is a dot that ticks for 1.5mil every 2 seconds for 10 seconds. If multiple players break their chains the dot will stack.
  50. This mechanic is also the big reason why immunity classes are sought after for this fight.
  51. If they use their immunity when the Setences go out, they can get targeted but won't actually get it which effectively removes one person from the 3.
  52. How we handle this is entirely based on our comp, how many healer cd's we have, and how many immunities we can use to potentially cheese the sentences.
  53. We can have two people break chains at the same time and blow a shitload of healer cd's or personals.
  54. We can also suicide the entire raid with Sargeras' Rage right next to the tree, right before the Setences go out. Once they do, we release right on top of the tree and res.
  55. This cheese method effectively allows us to bypass one set of setences.
