  1. Hints General Information:

  3. - Hints are currently in development. All feedback should be provided in relevant discord channels.
  4. - While in development, XX implies a hint message could not be placed because there are not yet many hints.
  5. - A sign reading 'X' was too short to take a valid hint
  6.  
  7. - ALL Gym Signs will read an area as either barren or required. It is recommended to check all 16 of these signs. It may be optimal to, once you have Fly, to visit all areas just to rule out areas that are not required.

  9. - Please note that hints are designed to recognise 'key items' as required. Some items with easy to interpret rules, such as Lost Item, if not required, can be discounted. However, items such as the Pass / SS. Ticket may be deemed 'required' by the hint system as complex logic is not yet implemented into the hint system, which would require mapping out the full route and using this data correctly. (Slow WIP)

  11. KNOWN ISSUES:
  12. - Sign on Route 35 shares a text buffer with the other Route 35 sign, so will not be hidden
  13. - An item may be incorrectly labelled as required/not required due to alternate paths - e.g. Strength is a fools toy, but important item is in Mt. Mortar which requires Strength OR Waterfall. This will not be addressed yet, as is rare and also requires complex logic to handle.
  14. - Logic of lowering the required number of badges is not accounted for when using hints. All badges are always deemed required, but it may be possible to route around some required places by lowering the badge requirements.
  15. - Celadon Game Corner not recognised as a signpost due to AU text difference at this time
  16. - :ale pf Rage Sign House is not hidden or handled accordingly
