  1. This is my review of the “300” movie produced in 2007 in the USA, directed by Zack Snyder and based on a comics by Frank Miller and Lynn Var.
  2. The story begins with the arrival of persian representatives to the king of Sparta, Leonidas whose part is played by Cerard Butler. Spartans murder them, what led to the battle of Termopile in which king Leonidas and three hundreds of Spartans fought against Xerxes (Rodrigo Santoro) and his hundreds of thousands of Persian warriors. Spartans have lost the battle, but they fought last man standing. In film we call also see: David Wenham as Dilios, Lena Headey- Queen Gorgo, Vincent Regan- Captain, Michael Fassbender as Stelios and many others.
  3. The atmosphere and the dramatic effect of the screen adaptation of "300" depends largely on the sound. For example, just the sound or flying arrows or the swords in the battle ewokes strong emotions. The orginal score, composed by Tyler Bates accompanies each scene in such a way that it explains the meaning of each gesture and movement, so they're remembered.
  4. It is also worth mentioning that the film makers put a lot of effort in order to make the film as close to the comic as possible.
  5. Film is powerful. I liked it very much, especially the special effects.
