ailan was born in fuzhou china, and lived there for about 9 years, before moving to daegu south korea. the move wasn’t always easy for her. she wasn’t very good at adapting to new situations, so when she entered her new school and a new country, she became a nervous wreck. ailan was never a confident one.

luckily, after highschool she hadn’t been bullied once at all. she easily fit in with the other korean students. all she had to do was introduce herself. during highschool, many guys swooned over her, but she never realized, being  blessed with the amazing visuals of her beautiful mother and handsome father.

her friends always complimented her looks, and so she started an instagram account, showing her face in different selfies. her account didn’t immediately sky rocket, but over about a month, she was popular. popularity was never a big serving on her plate, but she felt someone accomplished when she did.

—hates skin ship ;
ailan too everyone is known to hate or dislike skin ship. ailan isn’t touchy either, and as an excuse, she says she just wants to respect other’s privacy and personal space. ailan does occasionally hug her close friends, but it’s so rare, and if she does, her friends are always confused why. she isn’t one to believe love at first sight either, since she doesn’t catch feelings easily.

without shame, ailan makes innocent things seem dirty. if someone is eating a banana, ailan will smirk at them and raise both of her eyebrows teasingly. even if she has a dirty mind, she doesn’t go up to people and smack their butts, or talk about their “parts”

—respectful/patient ;
one of ailan’s best traits are being respectful and patient. she tries to understand every situation, and can wait for the sun to burn out for her close friends. she doesn’t take anything that’s not hers without asking, because she respects other’s things, and if they say no, she doesn’t mind.

junhui grew up in shenzhen china and moved to seoul when he was 19 because he wanted to pursue his dream of dancing. when he was young, junhui was always trying to find the time to practice dancing. his dancing wasn’t the best at first, and he may or may not have looked like a seal, but after many years of practice, he’s finally ready to move to korea to continue his dream on becoming a professional dancer.

junhui adapted to the korean culture quickly, as well as learning their language, but occasionally, he missed the china: the food, the strange, but comforting atmosphere. junhui used dancing as a distraction method, and to relieve stress. luckily, since he volunteered at the local dance studio, he gets to go there and dance himself whenever he wants.

—funny ;
junhui is always lighting up other people’s mood. he seems to always have a joke for every situation, and dirty jokes are always included. junhui being there in a situation just lights up everybody’s (mostly) mood

—shy/goofy ;
to other people junhui may not know, he becomes shy, and can’t help but make a fool of himself. somehow, it’s the cutest thing ever, making people think he’s a bit goofy, in a good way. many think junhui’s shyness is just a charm of his personality

—optimistic ;
junhui is optimistic, but isn’t too optimistic, that he fails to see reality at times. he’s always encouraging others to keep going, and to what they want to do, no matter what. he’s the one that usually reassures everyone that everything’s okay.
