- Character Creation:
- Timing starts after selecting confirm on the house rules screen
- Start creating characters as Brutes.
- The following personal quests should be assigned to Brutes:
- The Perfect Poison - Kill 3 Lurkers, 3 Oozes, and 3 Spitting Drakes
- The Fall of Man - Complete 2 scenarios in the Lingering Swamp, then complete Fading Lighthouse and Pit of Souls
- Goliath Toppler - Complete 4 boss scenarios
- Aberrant Slayer - Kill one of each type of demon
- Helping Hand - Watch two party members complete their personal quests
- Keep note of when you see these personal quests (the stack repeats after 12 characters if you don't delete)
- Trophy Hunter - Kill 20 different types of monster
- Merchant Class - Have 2 head items, 2 torso items, 2 feet items, 3 hand items, and 4 small items
- Piety in All Things - Donate 120 to the Temple of the Great Oak
- Pounds of Flesh - Kill 15 Vermlings
- any battle goals from the above section that were doubled up
- Using that knowledge, assign the following battle goals to the following classes
- Trophy Hunter - Spellweaver
- Merchant Class - Spellweaver
- Piety in All Things - Hatchet
- Pounds of Flesh - Cragheart
- Buy blesses with 2 characters that are about to be deleted
- Delete all but those nine characters
- (Characters will now be referenced by the name of their personal quest)
- Split after deletion is done
- Black Barrow:
- Put Piety and Trophy in the party
- Set up cards for Piety and Trophy
- Piety gets a blessing from the temple and a Minor Power Potion (NOTE: must make up the 10 gold from the potion in the first three scenarios). (1/12 blessings received, 10 gold remaining)
- Trophy buys a Minor Power Potion and Boots of Striding, equips both (0 gold)
- Take a city event, try to get +reputation
- Travel to Black Barrow

- Trophy must kill a Bandit Guard, and should try to hit Living Bones and Bandit Archer as well (3/20 types killed)

- Set up cards for Merchant and Goliath

- Buy Minor Power Potion for Merchant (need to pick up 6 extra gold from the ground/events) (20 gold) (1/13 items)

- Take a city event if reputation is <2, try for +reputation
- Travel to Barrow Lair

- Take a city event if reputation is <2, try for +reputation
- Travel to Diamond Mine

- Pounds should kill as many vermlings as possible (10 in the scenario total), but don't drag hoping for summons.

- Get +1 Prosperity (4/15)
- Pounds probably hasn't retired, so buy blesses for Pounds and run it back, bailing as soon as Pounds hits 15 Vermlings total
- Retire Pounds to unlock Lightning Bolt (1/11), +1 Prosperity (5/15)
- Split on finishing unlock cutscene
- Gloomhaven Square B:
- Remove Piety from the party
- Goliath buys the Boots of Striding that Pounds just retired with (20 gold)
- Take a city event if reputation is <2, try for +reputation
- Travel to Gloomhaven Square B

- Plane of Elemental Power:

- Travel to Plane of Elemental Power

- If Aberrant retired, add Piety to the party, otherwise no party change
- Take a city event if reputation is <6, try for +reputation
- Travel to Temple of the Elements
- <Need two sets of strats, one for Brute/Spellweaver, the other for Spellweaver/Hatchet>
- Trophy must kill a Frost Demon, and has additional chances at the other three kinds and Cultists (11/20 types killed)
- Aberrant should clean up any Demons they still need.
- Unlock Plane of Night, and Gloomhaven Battlements A and B
- Aberrant should retire by now, unlocking Triforce (2/11), +1 prosperity (6/15)
- If Aberrant retires, split at end of unlock cutscene, otherwise split on reaching Gloomhaven
- Echo Chamber:
- Add Piety to the party if they aren't in already
- Piety and Trophy get blessings (8/12 blessings, 10 gold remaining)

- Icecrag Ascent:
- Take a city event if Sun is not unlocked
- Travel to Icecrag Ascent

- Poison should kill 3 Spitting Drakes (9/9 enemies killed)
- If Trophy has killed everything to this point, he should only need to kill a Hound. Spitting Drake can be a back-up, and if Rending Drake was missed previously, it can be picked up here. (21/20 types killed)
- If desperate for reputation/prosperity/money, complete this scenario to unlock Scorched Summit; otherwise bail
- If this scenario was completed, immediately proceed to and complete Scorched Summit
- Retire Trophy to unlock Two-Mini (6/11), +1 prosperity (10/15)
- Retire Poison to unlock C'thulu (7/11), +1 prosperity (11/15)
- Split on finishing unlock cutscenes
- Clean-Up:
- Put Helping and Piety in the party.
- Piety gets a blessing (12/12, 0 gold left), triggering +1 prosperity for 15 blessings (12/15)
- Retire Piety to unlock Saw (8/11), +1 prosperity (13/15)
- Helping gets a retirement (1/2)
- Put Merchant in the party
- Sell the Amulet of Life (if you haven't already), then buy 2 Iron Helmets, 2 Hide Armor, 2 Heater Shield, 1 Poison Dagger, 2 Boots of Striding, and 3 more Minor Potions, all at a -2 (or better) discount for a total of 144 gold. (13/13 necessary items)
- Retire Merchant to unlock Three Spears (9/11), +1 prosperity (14/15)
- Helping gets a retirement (2/2)
- Retire Helping to unlock Music Note (10/11), +1 prosperity (15/15)
- Create Brutes until you find the Personal Quest Augmented Abilities
- Upgrade Trample's pierce, Skewer's move, Overwhelming Assault's move, and Grab and Go's move for a total of 75 gold
- Retire Augmented Abilities to unlock Circles (11/11)
- Timing ends when the last unlock cutscene finishes.
