**Special Containment Procedures:** Must remain guarded by no less than 3 Class-D individuals at all times. Individuals must pass a psychiatric screening beforehand, and must provide a negative diagosis for anxiety and depression. Artifact rests in a box made of black [REDACTED] lined with velvet.

**Description:** SCP-328 appears to be a plain white mask. Further examination reveals that it is in fact composed of bone, and other organic materials of unknown origin. When a subject suffering from depression draws within 2m of the object, the are bound by a complusion to aquire and wear it, and will turn violent if restrained. Once said subject wears the artifact, there is a bright flash and a quickly fading burning smell as SCP-328 binds to their flesh. A sense of peace and happiness then begins to radiate from the subject, continuing until the mask is removed by surgical means. Affected personal report a feeling of hopelessness and agitated depression, often leading to suicidal thoughts and actions subject is physically able to harm themselves. Object was recovered from [DATA EXPUNGED], where ██ seemingly content citizens had commited suicide over a period of █ months. A retrieval team was tasked with recovery of the object, where it was revealed that the sense of happiness will radiate from cadavers wearing the mask as well.
