  18. Support will most likely vary between a VPS provider and a reseller hosting provider. Some of the reseller/shared hosting providers might actually help you with website/script issues, while a server provider might want to stick to server administration issues only.

  22. Why do you need this amount of bandwidth? It is unusual for a reseller hosting to consume that amount of bandwidth, chances are, you will hit other resource limits before reaching anywhere near that bandwidth.
  23. If you are going to allow downloading files from your reseller hosting server, many provider might not allow it. Why don't you consider offloading the files to a third party free or otherwise file storage providers?
  24. The offers section on WHT is a pretty good place to start your search for a new hosting provider. Do you have any specific requirements besides the amount of storage, bandwidth and location?
  25. He is looking for a fastdl which is basically a large hosting account that can handle people downloading large files for maps ect. I would highly suggest asking your game server provider if they offer this otherwise you would just need to get a VPS.

  27. I agree with this. If you only need a service to serve LOTS of downloads, then using Shared/Reseller is probably not the best for that. Sure many will allow it, but you usually use Shared/Reseller if you want to host websites with PHP/MySQL. For just downloads, using a service just to serve downloads would be better.

  29. Your server configuration can depend on the budget you have for that kind of solution. Any preferable location within EU? Netherlands could be a good place for related search.
