  3. Hello everyone! Welcome to Forum Mafia II: Greek Gods & Goddesses, Hosted by yours truly Spondee along with SamP4Palmer the lovable goof. This forum mafia will be a 13 player role-madness (all roles will have some sort of power role / power ability) game in which the town will be attempting to defeat the mafia and vice-versa.

  5. It has been a while since Forum Mafia I: Tarot (Shout out to Mist) in which the mafia triumphed over the town. Will the fates remain the same? Or will the town find greatness?

  10. Game Mechanics:
  11. Days will be 72 hours long by default. I may extend days if significant ISP necessitates replacements near the end of a game day. If a 50% vote has not been reached that will constitute a no-lynch
  12. Nights are 24 hours long by default. (The reason for this is that 12 hour nights ends up quickly resulting in days that end very early in the morning, which kind of eliminates the "last minute panic" aspect of the game)
  13. Night actions which are not submitted will be counted as no action. Players with a compulsive modifier will have their night action randomized.
  14. Lynch is based on majority. As soon as a majority of greater than 50% of the remaining players, the lynch is locked.
  15. Twilight Phase is in effect. When the lynch is locked, talking may continue until the host locks the thread.
  16. At any time, you may ask the host mechanics based questions/clarifications either privately or in public. If you ask privately I will answer privately, if you ask publicly I will answer publicly.
  17. Members of the mafia may perform their factional kill as well as their role related night action unless it is stated they may in their role description.
  18. Votes must be made in BOLD and preferably be on their own line. Bold is done via the tag [b]Text Goes Here[/b].
  19. Only alignment will be revealed upon being lynched.

  21. Conduct Guidelines:
  22. Please don't play against your win condition. Besides that, I don't have many qualms with HOW you play.
  23. I will be dealing with ISP via prods. If you go 24 hours without posting, I will prod you via private message. If another 24 hours pass and you have not responded, I will seek replacement. If you receive more than 3 prods, even if you have responded to all of them in time, I may begin looking for a replacement anyway.
  24. If you plan to be away for 24 hours at any point, just let me know and I won't prod you.
  25. Don't be a jerk. If I feel you are making the game a toxic environment/negative experience for others beyond what is reasonable, I may replace you.
  26. Plussing and negging is allowed, as long as you are not a dead player in the game.
  27. Do not quote any communications from the host, including contents of your role PM, investigative results, or any questions you may have asked. You may paraphrase.

  29. Setup and Roles:
  30. This is a CLOSED roles setup. That means with the exception of any "Informed" players, there is no indication as to what the setup is at the start of the game.
  31. The setup will have 13 players.
  32. Balance is taken into account when designing the setup, but I cannot guarantee definite balance.
  33. I will not have a "list of possible roles". Anything is possible, though I promise not to get too crazy or abnormal.
