- - Crawlers are blocked
- - No Traffic
- Guest Posts
- - Public Domains
- - Here I am specifically talking about cheaper Guest Posts with no Traffic
- - Metrics lower than PBN
- Just lately seeing PBNs that are looking more like Guest Posts
- & Similarly Guest Posts that look like more a PBN.
- I wanted to see what other people have to say about this.
- off course there are so many factors
- There are remarkable PBNs that are built correctly
- Then there are ones that are just backlinked to by other PBNs to boost metrics
- PBN
- There are PBNs that have remarkable well written content, can pass manual review and have great metrics.
- Guest Posts
- In this post I am Not talking about the expensive guest posts/ Real blogs.
- I am discussing Guests posts with good metrics but they do not have any traffic.
- And then many would say that the Guest Post looks more like a PBN.
- So we have Guest Posts looking like PBN's and PBNs looking like guest post
- What distinguishing factors do others on BHW use ?
- I really want to hear someone's view about this.
- I would love for people to share the risks specially with PBN's and what do you think makes it less safe when compared to lower end guest blogs ?

- Why people make simple things, so much complicated.

- lol I feel like there not much to discuss about this but just wanted to see if someone wanted to add anything to itWebsitewww.instaphotodownloader.com
- PBN and Guest Posts both are different.
- In PBN there is author who is writing blogs on his website and in Guest Post he allow other to share their posts on his blog. The Guest Post will never look like a PBN if the author is different with different bio.

- Guest posts without traffic are mostly useless :) they behave as any other pbn link.
- You need referral traffic from the guest post to be able to rank better and for a longer period of time.

- Appreciate the feedback :)
- So its true that PBN's can be close to guest posts that not only pass a manual review but does not matter if even people find out about it yah ?
- Would you agree ?
- I dont get it
- If passes manual review and has excellent link profile
- then why keep it private and block crawlers
- makes sense traffic will be less since no keyword is targetted
- but even there is some traffic like 50 a month.
- Just let it come through
- I just don't see a point
- psh I think I figured out the answer duh to myself

- If all pbn sites are talking about same sites. This will cause a connection and google will say ahaa you must be the same guy :)

- Thanks for the feedback pankajjangir. I suppose when I said Guest Posts, I just meant public blogs
- "Public Blog with no traffic" is mainly what I am talking about
- How can Google know that peoples read the guest blog post and use it as a metric for ranking?
- How can Google know that peoples read the guest blog post and use it as a metric for ranking?
- but same can be said about PBN
- but same can be said about PBN
- I'm not making an argument, but rather asking a question. Because I read here that if blog post doesn't get traffic it's not as powerful
- The answer is simple. Many are trying to sell you their PBN as guest post and just name it like that. GUEST POST = GOOD, PBN = BAD, that is the overall perception of the most, the providers try to exploit

- Yes like @WebMinati mentioned
- If Guest Post does not have traffic then its useless
- In my view that if it has no traffic then It is not any different from a PBN.
- If you think contrary, then please share.
- From this thread discussion It does not seem like they are PBN's should have the reputation they do.
- Unless someone makes a case as to why they generally have the reputation they do.
- I want someone to tell me the negatives of buying PBN links.
- and how is it different from a public blog with no traffic
- The answer is simple. Many are trying to sell you their PBN as guest post and just name it like that. GUEST POST = GOOD, PBN = BAD, that is the overall perception of the most, the providers try to exploit
- Yes True
- Also, I still can not also figure out why PBN has to be private.
- If public blogs that have no traffic but have metrics can be public
- Then why does PBN need to be private.
- And if they are on different hosting plans, what does it matter if they all talk about similar websites. I do not think that is enough proof to say it is only being used for ranking.
- The only time I feel like PBN is better hidden is if there is something wrong with it: like 1) content is crap/ super spun , built on expired domain, or was backlinked by cheap links
- but if a PBN has good content , built on a good previous domain and backlink profile is excellent.
- Then I don;t understand why someone would need to hide it and make it private.
- Whats the point of private when there is nothing to worry about ?
- Private does not mean that it is not publicly accessible. Just backlinks spiders and the like are excluded, so competitors cant snoop and it makes it more hard for Google to uncover and deindex a complete network

- Thanks for the feedback @subster
- That does answer my query
- but its possible that google can uncover a network but does not find anything that screams pbn
- Then it should not have any reason to deindex it right

- more hard for Google?
- be more specific or just stop ;]
- How about bringing value yourself before using the imperative to the only helpful poster for the mislead OP.
- Especially if it is just too obvious that a manual review could make use of such crawlers.
- more hard for Google?

- I am being just appreciative to whoever is giving any kind of feedback.
- But everything people have replied so far are things I already knew
- although I enjoyed reading few of the replieswell, it comes down to risk, PBN that sell links publicly has higher chance of getting hit.
- While for guest posts, even though it doesn't have much traffic, but it is definitely less spammed compared to public PBN considering the same metric.
- Lower OBL, lower spamming rate, real sites are important factors that most public PBN can't do.
