  1. Requirements:
  2.
  3. ⦁ Computer
  4. ⦁ Inactive Fitbit account with synced device (You can buy these from some sellers of LeakForums, in the MPGH marketplace, or other places for cheap (less than 0.25$) or sometimes free)
  5. ⦁ 10 Minutes
  6.
  7.
  8. Steps:
  9.
  10. ⦁ First of all, you want to get your hands on a Fitbit account with a device set up on it. This tutorial requires an account with a device that hasn’t been synced in a while. A message box will appear on the dashboard after you log in telling you that you haven’t synced in a while, as shown below.
  11.
  12.
  13. ⦁ Secondly, you’re going to want to login to the account, then click on your Profile > Personal Information and change the following:
  14. ⦁ Email address to your own
  15. ⦁ If a country is selected and it’s not the one you live, unselect it.
  16. ⦁ Remove all text in address text boxes
  17.
  18. ⦁ Here’s the release dates for each Fitbits. Don't fuck up my telling them a date earlier than when the device I was SE’ing had come out.
  19. ⦁ Aria: April 2012
  20. ⦁ Ultra: October 2011
  21. ⦁ One: September 2012
  22. ⦁ Zip: September 2012
  23. ⦁ Flex: May 2013
  24. ⦁ Force: October 2013
  25. ⦁ Charge: November 2014
  26. ⦁ Charge HR: January 2015
  27. ⦁ Surge: Mid 2014
  28.
  29.
  30.
  31. ⦁ Then, you’re going to want to head to ⦁ https://www.fitbit.com/activities , click on Year, and find where the activity started happening.
  32.
  33.
  34.
  35. For this example, the account holder started using the Fitbit device around the end of December & Early 2015.
  36.
  37. NOTE: Check this date and make sure it is a date after the initial release (Listed in Step 3) of the Fitbit device that is connected to the account. For this example, the Surge came out in mid-2014 and the owner started using it early 2015, so it checks out.
  38.
  39. ⦁ Open the following articles in a new tab. Sometimes, the representative will ask you what you’ve done to fix the problem with your device, or how you’ve tried restarting your device, so it’s good to keep these close.
  40. ⦁ https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_...art-my-tracker

  42.
  43. ⦁ Go here: https://leakforums.net/thread-641406
  44. This will tell you which reps will give you a replacement and which don't. You want to have a "Bae Rep" not a "Bad Rep"
  45.
  46. ⦁ Head to http://help.fitbit.com/apex/PreChat3?chatType=support and fill out the form. Use the name of the previous account owner, enter your own email, select the device that’s set up on the account, select the ‘Damaged’ issue and click submit.
  47.
  48. ⦁ Wait until you’re connected with a live chat operator. During the chat, you’re going to want to seem friendly, have manners, and use proper grammar.
  49.
  50. ⦁ Once connected, do the following:
  51.
  52. ⦁ Tell the operator hello.
  53. ⦁ Tell them you’re having a problem charging your (Insert Fitbit Device name here.)
  54. ⦁ Wait till they reply then tell them you’ve read the articles on the Fitbit help center and followed the steps, as well as checking out the community forums. Tell them none of the methods worked and that your Fitbit device is still not charging.
  55. ⦁ If they want to run you through troubleshooting, go along with it while pretending to troubleshoot.
  56. ⦁ You can optionally tell them you’ve checked the forums and seen that a lot of people have had this problem. (This is especially true with the Fitbit Flex.)
  57. ⦁ Once you’re finished with the troubleshooting, the representative should ask you for your address and phone number to send the replacement to.
  58.
  59.
  60. Common Q and As:
  61.
  62. Q. A rep asked me What have you tried till now?
  63. A. They’re probably testing you to see if you know your shit. This is where the 2 articles I linked you to come in handy.
  64.
  65. Q. A rep asked me When did you purchase your Fitbit?
  66. A. This is where the Activity page I linked you to comes in handy. Check when the activity started and tell them you were gifted the Fitbit at around that date. If you do not tell them you were gifted it, they will most likely ask for proof of receipt.
  67.
  68. Q. I can't find the live chat button, help me, fam.
  69. A. It's because you're probably doing it when their live chat support is at their homes, so wait until you think they're working at their server time and try again. Pretty much just wait a couple hours and check and see.
  70.
  71. Q. Can I do this on a tablet?
  72. A. Mrtecla, a user here at LF, told me to mention: that yes, you apparently can use your tablet for this SE.
  73.
  74. Q. A rep asked me Where is the connected Fitbit? and/or On which device?
  75. A. OPEN THAT SHIT NOW FAM! (that spoiler...)
