that's been floating around
which is hosting an AGPL after OMPL
Both of us think that we can definitely make it work and it's something that we should take a step towards especially with AG being axed from OMPL

I think
@birb had two major concerns
the first one being
what formats
BW/ORAS/USUM/Bo3USUM / Bo3all 3 gens are pretty much our only options
with BW and ORAS and Bo3 all 3 gens being risky
Another issue is lack of playerbase

which I think is fair to say that AG doesn't have 50 good players but I'd argue that no other tier has 50 good players most of the PLs are filled with people from other tiers
based on raw statistics AG has more people per seasonal than ZU not to mention a larger room and much more active ladder
furthermore we're so close to a mainstream tier that it'll attract more people than we expect
not to mention Ubers being axed from snake means we will get more ubers players at this time of the year because no other tours exist for them

I think playerbase should be ok, especially if its heavily advertised in room and discord. I've seen people ask for agpl so there is some interest

Right after OMPL might not be a very good time for this tour but since we're reaching the end of Gen 7, if we want the present gen in this tour to be 7 then we don't have much of a choice
