"Abandoned her country. Abandoned her responsibility. But she never abandoned her faith -- That... Is mandatory, and only that. But look around you." Alastor wasn't very gentle with his words now, but the badge of an Eternal gleamed atop the standard uniform of a Knight.

Soon to be worn by all knights, likely. "Your father is dead, likely. Due to others, due to the lack of hope, due to people who simply can not do anything without hurting others."

"Due to those bent on prolonging suffering." And then, his other elbow was held against his knee, hand risen in her direction. He lacked the constant gleam of rieka within his eyes -- Such only came when he was exceptionally angry.

Right now, these piercing purple irises, that nigh mocking, smug expression on his face, all stared directly at Sophia. And then, the palm positioned between them opened, right in front of both his chest and hers.

"We are family -- Even if you somehow didn't have visions and required to read books, and even if your vision of yourself has aspects to be improved..."

[14:17] There was no reason to be wearing a hood, he was no longer in Gehenna. The Oscrui would remove the hood revealing his features. For the most part he was in decent condition. Though there were signs of extreme fatigue, however he appeared to be alright.

Turning to face Josephine Leopold would greet the woman with a smile, "Hello, Josephine. I am fine, just tired is all. How about you, are you well?"

"I've been okay, been out and about doing what I normally do-- Actually, no...I've been helpful as of late." There is a sudden frown. "..What the hell." Letting that horrid thought settle in, the brunette shakes it off and instead grins once more.

"You know, if you're going to wear a hood? At least make it match your coat."

[14:21] Wereley still Wonders how he started to fly in the first place, quite the task in fact that he completely forgot how to turn it off, maybe crashing into the ground would help, but then again once trying he just floated in a confused patern as a bug that just faceplanted a wall and didn't quite understand the concept.

[14:23] She blinked once, twice, looking at him in disbelief as he said that her papa was probably dead. For most of her life the man had cared for her. After the death of her real parents and after her being abandoned by the two women that cared for her like a mother. Even if she were forced to live in a cave away from everybody because he feared her bloodline, and what that might mean for both of them if she were discovered, she loved him.

She simply couldn't believe he were dead, even if Alastor's words made sense. She hadn't seen him in a very long time.

However, the tiny thought that he might be. That Alastor might be right, stabbed into her heart. It hurt, and it turned her eyes to sorrow for a fleeting moment. A moment that showed in the shape of her eyes before she stuffed it away, determined to be strong even in the middle of a crowd of strangers.

She nodded, and reached out for his hand. She intertwined her fingers with his and said, "Ok."

[14:23] "If you want me to be honest I'd rather not wear a coat at all. --I am much more used to being shirtless, but those days have passed." There's a brief pause as his gaze adverts to the side. Much has happened, he lost his high spirits and became a much more boring person out of battle.

"I lack good fashion sense, sadly I take after my father in those regards." A smirk gracing his visage as he regains eye contact with Josephine, thinking about his dad always brought some sort of positive reaction. "I am pleased to hear that you've been helpful."

"I wish I could say the same, but ah well. My time will come. --Perhaps you could be helpful and teach me how to dress, hm?"

What was with all these muscular men saying that?! It's like they were TRYING to tease her! Taking a deep inhale of breath, Josephine calmed herself for a moment and shook her head. The boy crazed fourteen year old still had yet to make their exit, this was absolute torment.

Standing up, her hat being adjusted, she catches a snarky comment from Dylerun and can't help but scoff. "He does a little bit, huh? You should have seen Sors before I got my hands on him. If I can fix /that/, I can fix /this/." Looking back at the vampire, an oddly uplifting smile rests on those Cherub features.

Josephine almost looked...Nice.

"You wanna come with? This should be fun.."

[14:30] Josephine says, "Okay, first...Off with the jacket. It looks like a rabbid swarm of moths attacked you."
[14:30] Vedran Ivanovich asks, "Will he end up with one of those hats, too..?"

[14:34] A strange mixture of shock and surprise took his features. He didn't expect her to be so willing, she also seemed experienced. This was going to be a trip for Leopold, the male hadn't switched outfits in literal years. His clothes were warn.

"A- A-..." He'd quickly shake his head, glancing back to Dylerun for a moment. "This should be interesting, where do I start?"

[14:37] A few hard-spoken truths and soft jabs at her were enough to make her vulnerable. As the hands were finally held together, Alastor shook it slightly. And now, he continued his inflamed speech about... Brotherhood of Azrael, it seemed.

"You are born for more than just being a warrior. You are not above others, even if we are the Chosen of Azrael, we are here to bring his will. And his will was to save Mankind from suffering."

"And as others, you should do what an Oscuri does best." And then, leaning in closer to her, still holding her hand. The back of her palm hit against his own, armored chest, obviously fully covered in metal.

"I will teach you how to be one of the best -- Because you'll be learning from the best. And you will make Azrael proud to have you as part of his chosen lineage..."

"... Because you'll grow and learn to fight. And more." Obviously, because it was a fellow oscuri -- He would never think that she didn't have the predisposition to fight above all things. "Alright?" He asked, although the harsh tone his voice took nearly made it sound less like a question, and more like... An affirmation of sorts.

[14:37] Snapping her fingers, she motions to some shopkeepers in the distance. "Over here, come on-- And like I said. Get rid of that coat." What a demanding little thing. Turning to step towards the shopkeepers, her own scarlet cape flutters behind the woman in a dramatic fashion.

"You need armor, It's quite literally a necessity for you. You ought to find someone willing to make you some." There is a pause and just a HINT of a smile. "I know a grumpy old man that MIGHT do it for you."

[14:42] Josephine says, "Yeah, they're super dramatic-- It's great."
[14:42] Her eyes narrowed as she listened to his words, nodding to show that she understood. They widened again as he slapped her palm to his chest, and glanced down to look upon it and the crest that was emblazoned there. Floating back up to look into his purple eyes, she nodded again.

"I will fight," she said.

She did her best to squeeze his hand, but she were not very strong. Hopefully the effort showed that she had some resolve to heed this calling.

"What should I do now?"

[14:46] Alastor G. Vishkar says, "Until you can get your own place, after you've grown up."
[14:46] Vedran Ivanovich whispers something.

[14:46] Josephine says, "Let me just...MAke this a thousand times better. Hold on.."
[14:46] Alastor G. Vishkar says, "And the thing about being a soldier is that we often have people turning into soldiers around here. It's what we do."
[14:46] Sophia blinks and slowly smiles. She looks nearly overwhelmed with the welcome Alastor was showing her. She felt like she could cry, and it took all of her strength to hold it back.
