06* Koeing shudders and bundles up her longcoat, tucking her dirty scarf around her neck a little tighter. Damnable winter... She sifts through the crowded sidewalks, eyes darting about with a paranoid fervor, keeping watch for danger but at the same time opportunity.

<Kusanagi> 6Virgil was out on the town currently. Bundled up and returning home from practice.
06* Koeing eyes potential prey, someone who seems just distracted enough. Her pace picks up, closing in on Virgil from behind...

<Koeing> 6Out of nowhere she strikes! Through the crowd a coat-wrapped stranger checks Virgil to one side while at the same time grabbing Virgil's bag! Without hesitation the figure runs off full-tilt, ducking and pushing through the crowd and down the street!

<Kusanagi> 6Virgil merfs and is knocked over, his uniform was in that bag! He chases after1 "Hey get back here!"
06* Alexi lazes about, bored out of her mind. Maybe class, but she didn't feel too much like it today. Grabbing her cell, she scrolls through the contacts. Dad, Mom, Virgil. Man, she needed more friends. Hitting call, she rings the folf, their last gaming session got sidetracked by his pet or sister or something.
06* Koeing doesn't reply or slow down, rushing through the crowd desperately! Once she felt she was well enough ahead she suddenly ducks into a side-alley, running down to a dark corner and kneeling down, peeling open the bag and rooting through it's contents. Wallet, iPhone, iPod, ANYthing...!
<Kusanagi> 6She got a used training uniform! \o/
<Koeing> "... No...!" 6she keeps digging. 1"... Dammit!" 6she growls, punching her left fist onto the concrete, causing some bizzare blue-purple seepage to ooze through her torn glove before crawling back inside.
<Kusanagi> 6To Koening's surprise the folf is shortly behind her, but runs just past the alley scratching his head as it seems the mugger lost him. The folf slumps and scratches his head before looking down at his phone.
<Kusanagi> 6Virgil answers the phone. Pacing back in front of the alley.1 "Hello" 6He then sees the mugger and his bag!
01<Alexi> "Hey Virg... not interrupting anything am I?" 6She asks casually over the phone.
<Koeing> 6!
06* Koeing stands, stepping back briefly, before flicking the bag behind her and running down the alley around a corner.
<Kusanagi> -Virgil- Get back here! 6It's not just the bag, it's a matter of pride, Momi never let him forget it if she heard he got mugged >.<
<Koeing> 6Around the corner was a dead end, blocked off by a brick wall some 8 feet tall. The mugger was nowhere to be seen! However at the end of the alley behind a dumpster the ragged  Dr. Ida Koeing was crouched, hiding.
<Kusanagi> 6Virgil had actually forgotten he was holding the cell phone. He looked into the dark alley was it really worth chasing someone down there....
06* Alexi ows as he yells at the mugger, and inadvertantly into the phone >.@ 1"Virg... Virgil? Is everything alright? Where are you?"
<Kusanagi> 6Virgil blinks...yeah not worth it. If someone's desperate enough to mug him shiving him in a dark alley isn't a stretch1 "It's okay...now anyway..."
01<Alexi> "Now? What happened? I'll be right there." 6She morphs into some clothes and heads on out. 1"Uhh... where are you? What happened? Don't go anywhere"

06* Koeing shivers slighlty, covering up in the cold, her breath slowing down. No money again, no food, but at least she was safe again.
<Koeing> 6With the coast clear Dr. Koeing slips back into the bustle of Downtown, pulling the collar of her coat up to help hide her face.

<Koeing> 6It'd be getting dark soon enough, she'd need to retreat to her hiding spot. She frowns quietly to herself, clenching her eyes closed as a wave of pain crept out from her arm. Damn all of this. Wolfette pulling the plug, nearly killing her. Years of work spoiled. Her masterpiece for the world ruined. And now she was on the run from people who saw her as a loose end that needed cleaning

06* Katt holds the vial up infront of her muzzle and looks admiringly over it's contents. 1"This is but a taster for you." 6Katt approaches Koeing and offers her the small container. 1"It's merely an accelerant to those with abilities, and an activator to those who wish them"
<Koeing> "..." 6Dr. Koeing huffs, narrowing her eyes. 1"You're... You are some kind of power broker? I've made it my life's work to control and eliminate superpowers for the dangers they posed to the entire world. And then... SHE came at our most critical of moments and ruined EVERYthing."
<Koeing> "I do not want powers. I want REVENGE."
06* Koeing ghnns slightly, her left arm twitching and spasming for a moment, with almost a mind of it's own. She clenches it, steading her arm, before facing Katt again.
06* Katt places the vial in Dr. Koeing's hand. 1"Consider it a gift, in case you change your mind. But my master won't allow you to kill her, that is why me and my associates exist. Oh... one more thing." 6She reaches into her pocket once again and hands over a business card. 1"If you change your mind contact us through them, we'll set up a meeting afterwards."
06* Koeing looks the vial over cautiously, then reads the card over once. 1"... Who are you?"

01<Katt> 6The card gives a phone number and an address downtown for a small bio-tech research company, headed by one Nicolas Hunter. 1"My name is Katt. And technically, I don't exist, like a lot of things in this city don't. We either get brushed under the rug or eliminated. But enough about me. Take some time, think over our offer. We'll be watching."
<Koeing> "... Of course."
06* Katt turns away and begins walking back towards the shadows. 1"Now, if you'll excuse me, there are things I have to take care of. And your prey is getting away, happy hunting."
<Koeing> "..." 6Koeing pockets the serum and card, before bundling back up. She climbs down the fire escape and enters the bustle of the street once more.
