We don't even know who the actual parent is when they are caught! I already explained some of those kids are being raped by predators who will sell their bodies to monsters as soon as they get into the country!

You haven't given a single suggestion for protecting those kids who desperately need it!

These people broke the law and gave up a right to their freedom. That means their kids are now the responsibility of the government, that is assuming they are their kids to begin with! That is the problem with dragging a child across a border with no paperwork. It makes you indistinguishable from a sex slave smuggler.

If we sent troops into Honduras to snatch toddlers out of their cribs that would be kidnapping!

What we are doing is enforcing the law, and by taking a stance against enforcing the law, the left is only ensuring Trump gets another 4 years.

And frankly I think that's a good thing as long as he doesn't open the border. I'd rather have a dumb conservative that puts America first, than a smart liberal who thinks a Honduran is owed just as much from our government as an American is.

I showed you the law verbatim. It says the punishment for that misdemeanor is **6 months in jail**. It also says that on subsequent offenses it's a felony.

Simply because a crime is a misdemeanor is absolutely no excuse to dissolve all enforcement of that law.

What exactly do you think should happen to the kid during the 6 months of incarceration that the adult earned? Would you be surprised to learn that most of them can end their own detainment as soon as they want by simply agreeing to go back home?
