  1. I have always been very interested in a STEM career, especially ones regarding space research. This program is the perfect opportunity for me to get knowledge about and experience with this kind of career, and I would love to work with NASA engineers. I would be successful in this program as I am passionate about this career field, and my strengths, interests and experiences would contribute to my success in the program.
  2. Due to my ability to work well with others as well as individually, I am flexible and able to adapt to many situations. I am also able to apply current knowledge to new and unknown situations, which is an important ability, especially with regards to aerospace engineering. In this field, there are still many things yet to be discovered, and it is important that the next generation of aerospace engineers is able to adapt to unfamiliar situations.
  3. My personality traits qualify me for this program as well. I am always eager to learn and try new things, and I'm fascinated with science and technology. I am also very cooperative and willing to make compromises when the need arises in order to more effectively solve problems with a group.
  4. As mentioned before, I am highly interested in space, including astrophysics and aerospace engineering. I have visited the National Air and Space Museum in Washington D.C. and keep up with current developments in this field.
