300 with 304 and C-10 attached were notified over the radio of a vehicle driving northbound on Senora Freeway at great speed.
The vehicle was intercepted and stopped by S-53 on Seaview Road, Grapeseed.
As 300 pulled up the suspect sped off with 300 pursuing. The suspect pulled off into the dock of the boatshop further west on N Calafia Way where he abandoned his vehicle. (Insert platenumber).

A search was launched on foot, in a boat and later on with assistance of Air 1. During the search a black in color pickup truck was spotted repeatedly moving in the area which was manned by Vinny Mortelli and Antonio Mortelli who claimed to have been fishing in the area where the suspect allegedly abandoned the vehicle and escaped on foot.
A short while later with the help of Air 1 a suspect was located in a bush. The suspect being identified as Giovanni Mortelli who admitted to being part of the chase, but claiming to have been in the passenger seat. He was taken into custody and charged with M4 - Evading Arrest / M65-  Reckless Operation of a Vehicle and charged with 20 months and a 7500$ fine.
