  1. After playing more today, my feedback on balance would be:
  2. - Dash attack seems to have too much kill power, maybe less KBG.
  3. - I know this might not be doable, but my friend said Renamon's aerials look too similar, making it hard to know what move you're being hit with, so maybe animations could be tweaked to make them look less similar?
  4. - All of her smashes, when they connect fully, kill very early, could do with less KB.
  5. - Fspecial serves as an incredibly effective recovery tool that allows Renamon to close in on the stage for free with very little commitment. To make this move more in-line with that other characters are capable of, I suggest giving it more travel distance, more endlag, and a hitbox. More endlag would make the move more fair and make it less of a free option for Renamon, traveling further would prevent it from becoming a worthless option after the endlag nerf, and adding a hitbox to the move would prevent opponents from getting free gimps on Renamon while she is in endlag. All in all, the move would be more like Fox/Falco fspecial, which would hurt the uniqueness of Renamon somewhat.

  7. Also, fsmash seems to be way too versatile. It can be spammed for the projectile, and if the opponent is unlucky, they might get hit with the actual smash as well. The fireball on fsmash also outshines her actual projectile in nspecial since it does more damage and is much harder to react to. I have a few suggestions for how this could be changed:
  8. - Remove the projectile entirely. This option makes takes away an unconventional option which Renamon has and nearly no other character does. However, it also removes the identity of the move, as it becomes a weaker version of dsmash, meaning dsmash would likely need to be changed as well. The most standard way to do this would be to make it some kind of move that hits both in front of and behind Renamon, like almost every other dsmash in the game. Additionally, with no secondary projectile, I would like to see Renamon's nspecial buffed to 6% or 7% and perhaps made slightly faster. Renamon loses some of her unique properties this way, which could upset those who like her as she is now, but it also brings her more in-line with the rest of the cast.
  9. - Reduce the power of the main fsmash hit and the damage of the fireball. This option makes it so that an opponent unlucky enough to get hit by fsmash while challenging a camping Renamon does not lose their stock for it. If this option is chosen, I would like to see fsmash have a much weaker launcher and a bit less damage. Additionally, I think it would be good to make her nspecial stonger and her fsmash fireball weaker, allowing her to have one stronger, slower projectile, and another faster but weaker one. This option changes less of Renamon's core identity, but some might still complain that having a fireball on her fsmash in unfair (but then again, you can't make EVERYONE happy.)
