  18. Rules & Guidelines-
  19.
  20.
  21.
  22. Can you please link the rules and tell us what you think is good or bad about them.
  23. http://www.nopixel.net/upload/index.php?threads/nopixel-official-rules-guidelines.104748/ Personally I don't have issues with the rules as written. I think the age limitation is a quick and easy way to rule out immature people not ready for this environment, and metagaming and powergaming are never fun so it is good it is properly addressed and laid out in an understandable way. I don't know if it's bad as much as something I am not clear about, I am somewhat familiar with the NLR but I assume it only applies if you respawn and not if you are helped by EMS though it is not entirely clear. The other one is with criminal organizations I think it's good because an active group of more than 4 operating at once could cause role play to be unfun if there is that much of an overwhelming force which I have had issues with on other servers.
  24. What is your definition of roleplay?
  25. Role play is taking a character and actually immersing yourself in their mindset, trying to understand and properly portray someone who you are not normally like acting in a movie or a play.
  26. What type of characters have you roleplayed before?
  27. I have played many characters starting with when I played dungeons and dragons, and more recently in FiveM. Characters such as a Ghost hunting charlatan, a biker, a lawyer, and a cab driver. Outside of FiveM I've played a school mascot, a spoiled rich kid, a police officer, and a bounty hunter/cowboy. They range from being more silly fun characters that make lots of jokes, to more serious characters that are mainly focused on developing their story.
  28. What type of characters do you intend to roleplay?
  29. I intend to bring back my role as a biker, as well as a lawyer, possibly even a police officer.
  30. What are your character positives and negative characteristics?
  31. For the biker: Loyal and easy-going, but he is loyal to a fault and blind to their issues, and also conforms to the group. He's definitely the kind of guy that just wants to have a good time with some buddies, make some jokes and treat everyone how he'd want to. His only issue is when he has bad influences, he is quick to go with the crowd and can get himself in lots of trouble. The lawyer: Charismatic and witty, but he is underhanded and doesn't let others get close. His need to win cases can drive him, he's not looking to be some two bit lawyer and that obsession can get consuming making him motivated but can get him to be a little harsh. The police officer: Honest and kind-hearted, though he is stubborn and will stick by his decisions. He's going to be the guy that would help someone out of a ditch, but if he's decided someone has done something wrong it will be hard to make him think otherwise. He definitely does not want to judge people on first glance but if they give him attitude he may just assume the worst of them.
  32. When do you feel is a good time to break character?
  33. In case of an emergency and even then a quick OOC exit message should be enough, and if it's not time sensitive an exit through role play would be better.

  45. What are your plans for your first day in Los Santos?
  46. First off I gotta find where the people are and make myself known, if I'm coming to town I'm going to make sure everyone gets to know me. I can hand out my business card... er well maybe first stop by a print shop and get those printed, hopefully they take credit. Next I gotta get to the court house and see if they accept legal counsel from a man who recently completed the BAR exam after taking some online classes, gotta get a job after all going to have to pay back for that box full of business cards. Then I can actually meet some people, make some friends, and actually hand out those business cards that I just went into debt for.
  47. The cops have pulled you over in a case of mistaken identity. What do you do?
  48. Alright, I'm calm they will know who I am I've got an unforgettable face, they wouldn't do anything to me. I'd look them right in the eye and say "If they try anything they would have a big lawsuit on their and then, then they'd know exactly who I was". Well now they are having me step out of the car and want me to show an ID, so I decline and say "I wasn't born yesterday and I know my rights". Next things go as planned, or no wait I'm being detained and having to go in the back of the cruiser and say "Oh you'll hear from my lawyer, me I represent myself and this is going all the way to the supreme court, or maybe small claims they know me there." So clearly it didn't go as intended but I will definitely get out of this in court.
  49. You are robbing a store. Inside the store is the owner and a civilian. Both individuals are begging you not to rob or hurt them. How would you roleplay this situation and what actions would you take?
  50. Okay, so maybe no one wanted to have me represent them in court but I gotta pay back those business cards some how. Alright stay calm, just point at the shop owner and tell the other one to be quiet otherwise maybe someone gets hurt but I'm not about to be liable for that. Gotta keep my gun, well gun is subjective technically I just spray painted this thing black, not about to make this charge any worse. Now I say, "Give me all the money in the register, make it fast I think I hear sirens," then after grabbing the quick and convenient plastic bag I'd run just about as fast as I could. though the lights are getting closer and I think I hear the buzz of a taser getting ready I think I'll make, zzzt....
  51. A stranger comes up to you and says he needs another person for a “big job” in town. How do you react and what do you do?
  52. There is one thing I need to do, give this guy my business car and give him a slight nudge. I'll tell him "This isn't my first time hearing this and clearly this you need some legal counsel, and I would advise you do not include me, but if it turns south like most big jobs I need details. The more I know the easier case I can build, like if you are going to be using guns, if life is going to be harmed or in danger, if you plan to kill people, blah blah blah, you know the usual." Now, I'm sure he totally keeps my card and he was just throwing away a gum wrapper I'm guaranteed to land a good client and hey, if he actually makes it big he'd have some cash to blow on my retainer fee.
  53. You are repairing your car and someone pulls up behind you with their gun drawn. They tell you to drop you stuff and handover your keys. What would you say and do in this situation?
  54. So this guy has a gun on me, that's his right to own that gun, and I understand he might shoot me but honestly this guy has bigger issues if he's taking my broken car. Regardless I'm handing over those keys, and maybe a business car, if he's nice, obviously he gets in a lot of legal trouble if he's going to be pulling guns on people and let him know "Hey if you are getting caught anytime soon I'd be willing to represent you, for a discount because we're friends and I'm even letting you borrow my car." Now when the car sputters on down the road, smoke spitting out the engine I'm calling the cops, honestly I'm not going to just stand here as a good law abiding citizen and let some punk take my car. Just as I'm about to make the call to the cops my phone starts to buzz I'm getting a call, it's the guy that took my car, he says thanks for the car loser, I'm definitely not representing that guy now.
  55. You have been involved in a crime with a group of known individuals; the officer offers you less time if you give up information on your group members; what would you do / how would you react?
  56. Deny deny deny, I'd tell them "how do they know some guy didn't just switch clothes with me in the middle of their pursuit I could be an innocent bystander." They'd show me the evidence, and I'd come back at them with "Camera footage you say? Alright, can I see the footage what if you're bluffing, I know all the... " So they show me the footage, guess it wasn't a bluff and I tell them, "oh that is very clear yeah definitely shows the whole crime. So you want names, phone numbers, home addresses, and can I maybe get this removed from my record, I didn't really know we were doing a crime, I thought he just forgot his keys and decided to just smash the window." I hear them talking to each other, it seems like I might have said more than they knew, so I'd continue "What was that? You say you didn't realize they stole a car, oh, can I strike that from the record?"
  57. You’ve found what looks like a random car in the street with a load of drugs inside. What do you do and why?
  58. I'm going to be honest, drug offenses are a little steep and can be hard to get past, now I'll open up the car but I'm not taking drugs, I'm looking for a number. First I need to let this guy know he needs some help if he's going to put himself in such a position, don't want to let a potential client get himself in deep trouble, that case would be much harder to deal with. So, alright, nobody leaves there number in their car, but I could always take out a majority of the drugs and dump them in a trash can, that way they only have enough for a possession charge. Next I'm going to call the cops, leave an anonymous tip, I know harsh but now I just have to follow them down to the station and bam! Now I got a job in my lap and all I gotta do is convince this guy to turn on his supplier, easy peasy.
  59. It’s just another day for you as a tow truck driver. You roll up to a job, only to see the person who called you, is holding an EMS hostage. The driver seems erratic and volatile. What do you do?
  60. A hostage, I did take a communications course online but I gotta say this is not something I am trained for. So I'm gonna let the guy know I don't have any guns, and that I'm not about to make any sudden moves. So, it looks like he's in a tough situation, I'm going to try and reason with him, I mean, it's not like he's gotten arrested for this, he's got a chance to keep this out of court. I'd ask him "Let the EMS go, I'm sure you've got it rough, we all do let's just talk it over, why don't you and me take his car, tow it out of here and go get some coffee, and then forget all about this, hows that sound buddy?" Alright, now that he seems to be calming down I'm going to get his car hooked up and find a coffee shop, hopefully I have enough to talk about with this psycho but maybe he'll fall asleep while I'm driving and I can just drop him off on the side of the road.
  61. You’ve gotten yourself into a situation – you owe a gang $5000 which you must pay back within a few hours. What could be a legal way to get this money in a pinch?
  62. I start telling them "I can solve this, you guys need legal representation right, I can get you legal representation pro bono, well mostly just clear my debt. I mean sure you shot a cop but I can get you acquitted, you play golf at all, no? Okay can't use the OJ defense um, but I can get your sentence lowered maybe, these guys aren't all your friends right?" Alright now they pulled a gun on me and are sounding a bit angry, I calmly state "Okay okay, put the gun down I know you aren't a rat I'm sorry, what about some driving tickets, I know about a recall on radar guns I'm sure I can bring that up. I could also push for some community service you guys ever try that?" Alright now they cocked the gun but that's fine I just take a deep breath and try and explain a bit but yeah they aren't going to listen to me so I'll talk "No, okay I'm going to go back to towing, maybe I won't get shot this time, I heard there can be good cash in it, that cool with you guys? Alright yeah I'll just get too it."
  63. You've been selling drugs on another gangs turf and they find you. How would your character react to this and deal with the situation?
  64. So I would probably immediately fall to my knees and beg for my life, saying "Please I didn't know this was a gang area, I don't know anything about turfs, or drugs even, I found this stuff in some car." Alright they still have guns pointed at my head, gotta talk fast "So, you want money, I'll turn out my pockets guys, I'll give you my debit card, I'll give you the drugs, I barely sold like most. Okay so I sold a lot, but what can I say?" Now they don't seem convinced and the guy in the back is playing with a knife, like they plan on gutting me, hopefully he just thinks it looks really cool, but probably not. So now I think I might just die, but I've got one last plan, "So you guys want me in the gang, would that be cool or? I mean I am sort of a lawyer, I could probably help you out, or..." That's when they just start kicking and hitting me, so after everything gets dark and my wallet is missing and my clothes covered in dirt and some blood, I just gotta say, in this hospital bed I don't really remember much of what happened but I think I was robbed.
