During testing

 

25. Click the Restart now button

 

    1. GUI is shut down, a prompt to remove media and press Enter appears

 

(prompt never appears - I get this with install from usb as well - bug 1018310, however ...)

 

 

26. Remove the disc and press enter

 

    1. The machine has been rebooted - (never reboots if sdcard is removed - boots fine with scdard and usb in pandaboard.)

 

 

 

So if sdcard has to stay in board to boot from usb install then 25/26/27 should be as follows perhaps.

 

 

25. Click the Restart now button

 

26. Remove power and re-power

 

27. Allow the machine to boot

 

    1.The system boots properly and loads into ubuntu

 

or something similar.
