  16. AbiWord is a full-featured, efficient word processing application
  17. suitable for a wide range of word processing tasks, and extensible
  18. with a variety of plugins. It integrates with enchant(1) to
  19. provide spell-checking.

  25. Specifies window geometry at startup.

  31. Import the given file as if it had extension EXT, overriding
  32. automatic file type detection.

  83. AbiWord was started in 1998 by AbiSource Inc., a company founded by
  84. SourceGear corporation. The initial plan was to build a free office
  85. suite named AbiSuite, encompassing word processing, spreadsheet and
  86. presentation applications. As they didn't have a usable product when
  87. their venture capital was up, the code already developed (namely
  88. AbiWord) was made open source. AbiWord development was subsequently
  89. taken over by volunteers and is driven by the community to date.
