>Day 1
>The invisibility spell is functioning perfectly, I've been able to infiltrate the under-empire undetected.  Their networks of tunnels appears to be truly vast
>Day 6
>I've had to create an olfactory-suppressing spell. Surprisingly, it wasn't the garbage or the waste that was the worst.  While I wouldn't exactly describe them as hygienic, the skaven do have mechanisms for disposing of their filth. No, the smell I can't tolerate anymore is their musk! The population all seem to emit some kind of earthy scent, it's terribly strong in these close quarters.

>I'm running a little low on supplies, I should turn back towards the surface to resupply.  But I've been learning so much!  If I could just continue deeper...  I've heard rumors of a warpstone chamber somewhere 2 levels bellow the one I'm currently on. Just to glimpse on the mechanisms by which these creatures extract energy from them.

>To my great shame, I've had to partake in Skaven food. To my surprise, it wasn't all that bad.  I was careful to avoid the clearly tainted pieces and sampled some kind of dry cracker. It was still marked by their infuriating scent, but otherwise tasted fine.
>Day 51
>I still haven't seen the warpstone chamber, but I can sense that it's close.  It's silly, but since coming down here I've developed a real feel for the place. I don't even need my night-vision amulet anymore.  My eyes must have just adapted on their own.
>Day 63
>I stumbled upon something... intriguing. I've yet to encounter any female skaven so far (I suspect the breeding chambers are lower down) and have often wondered how the predominantly male population go about... relieving themselves of their sexual urges. They aren't neutered, I looked closely at several subjects (making sure I was fully invisible every time) and I could clearly see all of their malehoods intact. I know now they satiate themselves on each other.  I saw pairs of males taking turns mounting each other.

>I had been told by the magistrum that the spells keeping me hidden from skaven senses would also protect me from their diseases. Despite this I seem to have caught some kind of fever. I suppose the state of where I've been working the past few months has caught up with me. Still, this fever feels strange. Rather than pain I feel... things that would be inappropriate to share in these journals.

>I made a fascinating discovery regarding skaven leadership. I believe I've found the dwellings of a proper warlord. His stature is larger and more formidable than the common skaven I've observed until now. His musk is much more enticing... [text scratched off] much more disruptive.

>I observed the warlord take another male, one of his subordinates. Contrary to the casual mating I saw going on between the lower rank skaven (which they seem to do out of boredom), this is clearly a method of establishing one's authority over another. The warlord appears to always the one on top, never receiving the rutting, always giving it.
>Day 87
>Dreams are becoming strange. I'm beginning to suspect I should have made my way back to the surface long ago. But something compels me to stay... Ran out of normal food long ago. Too tired to clean the Skaven food anymore.

>Nearby warpstone, must have transformative properties. My mind is changing along with my body. Keep thinking of strong warlord. Wish he would breed with traveller. Make good mate, good breed-slave, yes yes.

>My mind's cleared a bit, I had just enough lucidity to cast a counter-hex. But the changes to my body haven't reverted. I didn't realize Skaven magic could do this. I'm leaving, tonight.

>Keep getting lost, keep coming back to that damn warlord's cave.  I'm so changed now I probably don't even need my invisibility anymore.  I look almost like those damn rats.  God I even smell like them... smells so good.  I need to jack off again.

>Ran into mean clan-rats.  Rude, they were, yes yes.  They were helping each other but wouldn't help me.  Told me I couldn't join.  Said I smell of manthing.  Lost important amulet...
