  1. [20:36] The youth smashed his staff upon the ground as he closed his eyes to concentrate.

  3. "Thank you." He said in a whispery tone of voice, before flashing his eyes open.
  4.  
  5. The wind about him disappeared as flames of darkness shrouded his form. He felt himself fading away into unconsciousness.
  6.  
  7. "Genki. Kill me if you must." He said before lifting his staff up once again, tornadoes of wind forming about him.
  8. (Yu Heifang)

  10. [20:37] Genki asks, "Kill you?.. Why would I kill you dumb ass..?"
  11. [20:38] Yu only smiled. It was not the sparring he referred to.

  14. [20:39] Genki was confused to the remark that Yu had made, however he'd wait until the end of the spar to ask.

  17. [20:40] Yu Heifang says, "You're terrifying as ever."
  18. [20:41] Genki rests his blade over his shoulder looking over the male in front of himself.

  24. [20:42] Yu Heifang says, "It's a poem."
  25. [20:42] Yu Heifang says, "I read it somewhere, I think it's romantic."
  26. [20:42] Genki says, "I was never the poetic type.."
  27. [20:42] Yu prepares himself.

  32. [20:42] Genki's blade makes a CHNK sound as it's brought back to battle.

  36. [20:44] Genki says, "That's some hell of a combo you've got there Yu.."
  37. [20:45] Yu Heifang says, "Thanks. But, I have to be wary. Or else you'll obliterate me."

  39. [20:46] Yu coughs blood.

  44. [20:47] Genki says, "You're coughin up blood there bud."
  45. [20:47] Yu Heifang says, "It's fine. Overexertion of mana."
  46. [20:47] Yu Heifang asks, "Again?"
  47. [20:48] Genki looks to the bloodstained grass before sheathing his sword.

  53. [20:48] Yu takes out a pill, before drinking it.

  57. [20:48] Ethan offers a small pat atop Lea's head before a whisper was offered to Reito.

  59. "I think there's something you need to purify."
  60.  
  61. His feet soon brought him closer to the battlefield— to Genki in particular. A smile is offered.

  63. "Hey, kid. Are you alright?"

  67. [20:48] Yu Heifang says, "There we go."
  68. [20:49] Genki says, "Go on."
  69. [20:49] Genki says, "Get some help.. I wont judge you for it."
  70. [20:49] Yu glances to Ethan. "Yes, sir. I am. Thank you." He said before looking back to Genki.

  74. [20:49] Yu Heifang says, "That was fake blood."
  75. [20:49] Yu Heifang says, "I was trying to scare you."
  76. [20:49] Genki says, "Look'd pretty convincing to me."
  77. [20:49] Yu Heifang says, "Yep. It's a trick for my disguise."
  78. [20:50] Yu Heifang says, "I needed to know if it works."
  79. [20:50] Reito Shimasu says, "...."
  80. [20:50] Ethan Hawke says, "That's not what I meant."
  81. [20:51] Genki says, "Sure.."
  82. [20:51] Genki says, "I'll give you a go Yu."
  83. [20:51] Ethan took another step closer to the boy - a bit too close to not warrant his full attention.

  85. "If that kinda magic starts takin' over your mind, come see me."

  88. [20:54] The youth looked to Ethan, smiling.

  90. "I will. Thank you." He said, though for an adult, the lie may seem too obvious. A wave was also offered to Leah after he spoke, before looking back to Genki.

  92. And as if to escape the imposing presence of the Hawke, whom seem to have threatened the Heifang, he dashed forth toward Genki's direction if not interrupted.

  96. [20:55] Ethan nodded. Whether he saw through the lie or not wasn't quite obvious, but he left the area soon enough.

  100. [20:58] Genki says, "Sorry about this Yu."
  101. [20:58] Yu Heifang asks, "Hm?"
  102. [21:01] Genki noticing Yu was clearly a worse liar than he was.. Something was off with Yu.. No matter what he wouldn't quit attempting to fight. So simply, during the battle Genki quickly evaded an attack and with the back of his blade struck Yu in the back of the head out cold, subduing him in the most peaceful way he knew how.

  104. "Sorry about that Yu.. Somethings wrong with you.."
  105. (Genki)

  108. [21:01] Genki says, "Elyon."
  109. [21:01] Elyon Hirai asks, "...why's he down?"
  110. [21:06] The youth's vision was clouded upon use of dark magic. No, he wouldn't stop. He asked for pain. He sought for it. He sought for a home upon the darkness of a seemingly endless void.

  112. It was addicting.

  114. Despite immediately switching out to it. He smelled the metallic stain of blood, and as Genki's blade swiftly cut through his form, he felt bliss.

  116. Occultism was his drug. It was his crystal.
  117.  
  118. Though as he fought on, overpowered and out played by every turn, everything left him. The bliss. The pain, and he roared out in rage.

  120. And with that, he fell upon the ground, the seemingly deranged look on his eyes fading as he closed it.

  122. He could not control it yet. And if tales were true, all will fall upon the embrace of darkness.

  126. [21:08] Genki says, "This guy's an Occultist from what I've seen.."
  127. [21:09] Genki says, "Was making him sick.. coughing up blood actually, kept insisting on fighting so I knocked him out."
  128. [21:12] Hand lifts upwards, with a single digit lightly brushing along his own, onyx locks all the while. Not saying much yet, though he'd just tilt his head over to the side.

  130. No attempts to step towards Yu just yet, but he did allow that gaze to drift in Genki's direction, laced with just the faintest confusion.

  132. "Define knocking out. Is he hurt, Genki?"

  134. Words are soft, though firm nonetheless.

  136. "Or just out cold?"

  140. [21:18] Genki swung his blade over his shoulder looking down to Yu Heifang with a semi concerned look.

  142. "Dunno.. I did hit him in the back of the head with the back of my blade. Might have a bump or two.. But he was coughing blood earlier, I think we should call a doctor.."

  146. [21:19] Yu / Nope, barring the usual results of a spar, he was not hurt.
  147. (Yu Heifang)

  149. [21:21] Soft, quiet hums, and there's a way he'd somewhat rock back and forth all the while, hands nerely slipped into the pockets of his coat. Once Genki brings the Heifang closer, he'd only take a couple, slower steps forward, before kneeling down.

  151. Brown hues simply... inspect? It was a physical bout, and surely enough, there were no visible injuries.

  153. "Up, sunshine."

  155. Spoken blankly, and then he'd quite literally slap Yu across features-- a couple different times. It's light, but...

  157. "Wake the heck up, yeah?"
  158. (Elyon Hirai)

  160. [21:22] Yu groaned, before shaking his head after the last slap.

  162. "Heyyyy. Man, that was fun, Genki."

  167. [21:23] Elyon Hirai asks, "Are you sure it was Occult, Genki? And not just him being high on sake?"
  168. [21:23] Yu Heifang says, "Genki? I'm fine, really."
  169. [21:23] Genki says, "I saw it come out during our fight."
  170. [21:24] Elyon Hirai says, "I mean..."
  171. [21:24] Elyon lifts a single hand upward, and surely enough-- crimson sparks accompany.

  174. [21:24] Elyon Hirai says, "...and /I'm/ not flipping my thing."
  175. [21:24] Genki says, "Either way.. I think we should get him looked at. He was coughing up blood."
  176. [21:24] Yu Heifang says, "No, it's fine."
  177. [21:24] Elyon squints, this time around. There's a brief pause, before the lightning vanishes-- replaced by a lighter, ever-so-flowing aura of darkened mana. It made him frown, though, he never preferred it being slow.

  181. [21:24] Elyon Hirai asks, "...still not flipping my thing but-- what's up, Yu?"
  182. [21:24] Yu Heifang says, "I was trying to control the magic."
  183. [21:25] Elyon Hirai asks, "And?"
  184. [21:25] Yu Heifang says, "I don't know. I kind of got into it."
  185. [21:25] Genki says, "Come to think of it.. He did say something about."
  186. [21:25] Genki says, "Kill me if you have too, and that's when I saw it pop out."
  187. [21:25] Genki says, "It was brief."
  188. [21:26] Yu Heifang says, "Yes, that was occultic aura."
  189. [21:26] Yu Heifang says, "It's hard to control."
  190. [21:26] Yu Heifang says, "So, I took it right away. But, thank you for the concern, Genki."
  191. [21:27] Elyon Hirai says, "...you remind me of Nemaniti."
  192. [21:27] Elyon Hirai says, "Except she's jolly."
  193. [21:27] Yu Heifang asks, "I'll try not to worry you in the futu-- Who?"
  194. [21:27] Elyon Hirai says, "Fae."
  195. [21:27] Elyon Hirai says, "Why'd you pick it up, anyway? You were fine, like, a week ago."
  196. [21:27] Elyon Hirai says, "Or whenever I last saw you..."
  197. [21:28] Yu Heifang asks, "I don't know. We all don't know why we picked up a certain magic, right Elyon?"
  198. [21:28] Yu Heifang says, "It's like, you simply get attracted to it. And with an angelic voice, it calls out on you."
  199. [21:29] Yu Heifang says, "Promising you relief from pain."
  200. [21:29] Yu Heifang says, "And it does. You seek it out, and you never turn back. It's always there for you. Whatever that voice is."
  201. [21:29] Genki says, "Yep.. He's lost it."
  202. [21:30] Elyon looks around a tad.

  206. [21:30] Yu blinks innocently.

  210. [21:30] Elyon Hirai says, "If it's /that/ hard for you, why even, like..."
  211. [21:30] Elyon Hirai asks, "...why not, well, /quit/ the practice?"
  212. [21:30] Elyon Hirai says, "Your affinity stays, but... "
  213. [21:30] Elyon Hirai asks, "If you don't call for the mana, it's okay, right?"
  214. [21:30] Yu Heifang says, "Yes, it's okay."
  215. [21:30] Yu Heifang says, "If you don't call for the mana."
  216. [21:31] Yu Heifang says, "But only to a certain extent."
  217. [21:31] Elyon Hirai asks, "Just... don't push it, okay?"
  218. [21:31] Elyon Hirai says, "If you really want to practice it so... take it slow."
  219. [21:31] Yu Heifang says, "I really am. That's why I sparred with Genki."
  220. [21:31] Yu Heifang says, "I had the confidence he could take me down with ease."
  221. [21:32] Yu Heifang says, "Call it- a practice within controlled environment."
  222. [21:32] Elyon Hirai says, "Mmh... just take some rest."
  223. [21:33] Yu nods, smiling to the duo.

  230. [21:34] Genki says, "Get some rest, dumb ass."
