Personality:

Yurin is very timid and shy. Can often take hateful comments towards herself and ignore it like nobody didn't say anything to her but Is slowly actually breaking into a million pieces. It's also rare to see any emotions other emotions like being happy or sad on her because she is often caught shying away from the people she doesn't trust. Can't deal with pressure of others and easily is very Manipulate and take advantage of because she doesn't have the voice or courage to speak and stand up for herself. Very scared and terrified to socialize with others who she's not already close friends with so she will faintly mumble when talking to them or speak in a low whisper. She's probably won't even try to talk to the other person and just quite stare, whoever her close friend is usually helps her out and translate what she's trying to say to the other person. Is usually spot on right with the translations. Easily frighten by the little things and gestures people do towards here because of past events. Flinches easily when scared or startled by the simplest of actions, even by herself because of how quite she is she forgets she barely exists to herself and others. Often wish she was someone else and imagine how their life would be if she was them so she often forgets about herself and how she actually isn't them. But despite all these things she's actually a very happy, brave, and strong girl. When she is alone Or comfortable and accepting of herself at the moment she loves to go out and explore the beauty of the world for herself, Doing this usually calms her down if she's upset and feels as so she might cry, but never do because of past events. She also isn't afraid to admit her feelings to anybody she trust. She absolutely hate how she sounds and looks. Because she resembles to greatly to her mother. She absolutely resents herself and her reflection because her family love ones are always reminded of her mother of which they hate. Her voice is also faintly like hers but a little higher and Because of that great resemblance she choices to stay shut and remain shut in the shadows because she also doesn't want to get hurt or hurt by others like her father she doesn't let it out because she's scared of letting people in and trusting too easily. To herself her voice is the gateway to her fragile and diligent heart. She's doesn't want to let people to come into her life and step on easily and destroy her trust for them because she's easily breaks.

Background:

Growing up since the day she was born Yurin has always been dissed by her family members. Not knowing the reason behind it she was always thrown with hateful comments about her voice or visuals, and she has to take it all without standing up for herself. Because if she threatened to say anything she was often beaten/abused so she often hide her true emotions to prevent it still not understanding why. But as she grew older the more she wanted to try to look in why, she slyly began to ask around nice and trusting fam members until she found the answer. Her mother who was rich and famous left her and her poor and penniless father because she was force to marry for money as soon after she gave birth to her daughter Yurin. Although some family members didn't see Yurin's reason as a good excuse. Her mother was always spoken badly and rude, saying "she was only a slut who was looking for lust and dropped her misfortune of a child to us" or "if that women of yours came into our lives she should had left it with at least gallons of money not her accident". So reality they never saw Yurin's mother as a family member but as a tool to get rich and powerful but since she was force to leave them with no money once so ever they took all their hate out on the child who looks and sounds exactly like her from day one. And because of the hateful things she is called by since day one Yurin has grew a self hatred for herself from her heads to her toes. She doesn't like talking, and barely talks because she's afraid people will hate it or mistreat her. She also despise looking in the mirror or even up to someone because she's scared to be judged. When she feels sad or little about herself she loves to go outside and explore the world, because she thinks if she can't find beauty and the likability of herself she'll find it somewhere in the world. And this because of what her family members say she's scared to love herself. Even by her own father, despite the painful things they say she has decided to always love them because even though they greatly despise her they still remained to keep her and take her in.

(So if it doesn't make sense I'll make it short, so Yurin's mother was rich and feel of a poor guy which was her father and made Yurin. But because of family reasons like politics/money and growth Yurin's mother was force to leave without saying a word after giving birth to her. Leaving everyone and everything behind. Yurin's goal was to get money but since he didn't he has hate everything that distantly relative to her mother or looks like her mother.. so Yurin.)

Family:

Choi Yeohyung-
This is Yurin's father the man who greatly and strongly hates Yurin and her mother more than anything. He is the one who physically and mentally abuses Yurin the most because be didn't get what he had wish to succeed. Fame, fortune and money. He especially despise her the most because he is always reminded about her mother by her voice and visuals.

Mizumi Hyedam-
This is Yurin's Mother, she is half Korean and Half Japanese and passes 99.9% of her everything down to Yurin. Although it's been years since she's seen or heard from Yurin or her father she still loves them and wishes they are doing well. Without any of the members of each other's family she disguises herself every two months just to get a glimpse of her daughter from a far. Isn't aware of the abuse Yurin has gone/going through.

Choi Yongmin-
She knows everything about what happened to both families and was the one who explained Yurin the situation. She is the only one who doesn't bash/shame Yurin. She even knows that Yurin's mother comes sees Yurin from a far distance. She hides Yurin's mom in her apartment room, and is very close friends with her, and doesn't mentions anything about Yurin's abuse from the family. Typically she's the knows all see all person of the family.

But is very smart and academic is often talk to by her fellow classmates to help but she's too shy to say yes so she either runs away, doesn't talk or mumbles a no or other choices/methods of help that people can't hear from her. But she's somewhat more happy and social than when she's at home.

How they act at home: Never looks up, talks, speak or anything unless she is told to by family members. Flinches when being spoke to can't. Takes in all the abuse and hateful comments her and try not to break and react.

How they act in a group: She's the shadow of the group nobody talks to her and she's barely talked to. A lot of people often forgets she even there still, she's even forgets. Isn't the type to exclude herself from things so she sticks around anyway. She's very social when it comes to the things she's loved and surrounded by which surprises a lot of people.

How they act when they're around love interest:  she's finds him weird, funny but interesting. She wasn't social and trusting around him at first. But after time of getting to know the guy she eventually did. She loves how he doesn't mind the physical contact they have between each other like hugging or holding hands, although she's felt foreign and uncomfortable doing so with him but over time it felt natural and comfortable to do so. Or how he always compliments her and rains her down with all the love in the world not matter how much she hates herself. She always finds herself sticking around him the most, because he is almost like the sun to her. When she feels like she's being annoying or if she's being down his social life by associating with her she often say apologetic things to him because she feels but he say things that makes her feel better and less worse likes "your wrong" she feels 100% better. She almost feels like she can tell him everything and is the most direct and honest spoken to him. When around him she doesn't hold back to say when she wants to say or do. She says sweet things like "he's the most beautiful piece of nature she has found on this earth".
