  1. Sieghart wanders the lands for a while after some training. It seemed he was ever closer to his goal of mastery. Finding a park near his hometown, he found a quieter area of the park and looked unto a small pool of water. Taking a seat and looking down at his reflection for a moment, Sieg then closed his eyes and began to meditate.
  2.
  3. His strange aura of pressure appeared with little effort, blue particles of mana swirling within this aura. Sieg seemed to have complete focus on his meditation, the particles seeming to follow a certain pattern of flow. He could feel it, he was getting close to controlling his mana to a more concentrated extent.
  4. (Sieghart Vaulkyr)
  5. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  6. Sieghart sat near the slums, meditating for a while. A strange pressure surrounded him, blue particles flowing around him. This time, he'd managed to make the blue particles focus to an outline of energy around himself. It seemed he was gradually progressing with his abilities in manipulation of raw mana.
  7.
  8. It even seemed he could begin to draw in particles from the air. Having a bit of a smirk, he opened his eyes, but remained mostly focused on his meditation. As he saw another boy walk away from a man who one tried to rob him, he chuckled a bit.
  9.
  10. Back then, he barely had a few coins on him, and the guys didn't even bother.
  11. (Sieghart Vaulkyr)
  12. ~~~~~~~~~~
  13. Oblivious to any thoughts Sieghart may have in his mind, the Acolyte approaches them with light steps. Once he's beside them, a small smile appears on their lips.
  14.
  15. "Greetings, apologies for interrupting. Are you, perhaps, a residente of sudbury?"
  16. (Rain Multhunder)
  17. ~~~~~~~~~~
  18. Sieghart shifted his focus to the other who was soon asking if he'd had residence in Sudbury. "I wouldn't say I'm a resident anywhere, I wander too much." He simply stated in reply, a stone-straight face. The blue outline around him seemed to remain concentrated even when he was speaking and meditating at the same time. He could definitely see himself focusing his mana into more dense form soon.
  19. (Sieghart Vaulkyr)
  20. ~~~~~~~~~~
  21. Nodding his head to the young boy's words, he imagines they're another homeless person. Anyways, reaching inside his bag, he offers a small purse with coins to them.
  22.
  23. "Here, if you're currently in need."
  24.
  25. The purse had around 100 coins.
  26.
  27. Deep down, the boy had no qualms or doubt about giving money like this. He was instructed to do so, but if he could not give money to this kind of person, it was somewhat hard to know to who he should give it to.
  28.
  29. "I hope this may be able to help you, though, as I told the previous person, if you don't want it, you don't need to take it."
  30. (Rain Multhunder)
  31. ~~~~~~~~~~
  32. Sieghart was a bit stunned as he was offered some coin, not because of the generosity, but it felt a bit unnecessary. "Sorry, I don't think my pride will let me take that. I'm a perfectly able-bodied young man and I can work for my coin." He shook his head but looked back over to the Acolyte.
  33.
  34. "Say, you're from that church, aren't you? Do you know any magic?" He asked eagerly, he'd known some of the acolytes had use cosmic magic, and it was a bit similar to raw mana, just it was raw mana directly from the stars. Even if it wasn't cosmic magic, it could have still been some good training.
  35. (Sieghart Vaulkyr)
  36. ~~~~~~~~~~
  37. Nodding his head as the puts the money back, he answers the question.
  38.
  39. "Yes, I'm an Acolyte from the Church. All I currently know is a bit of holy magic that I was taught by the High Priest.
  40.
  41. Nothing more."
  42.
  43. After saying that, he starts to scan the area around. Another person had shown themselves up, but by their clothes and even the staff that they carried on their back, he supposed that they weren't a person that could be considered to be in 'need'.
  44. (Rain Multhunder)
  45. ~~~~~~~~~~
  46. Hmm, holy magic, Sieghart had never seen anything like that yet. Perhaps it was a powerful, bright energy just like raw mana, but a different color. "Perhaps there is something else you can offer me though." He remarked to the acolyte.
  47.
  48. "If you are allowed, I would like you to come to the nearby field with me and spar. I am attempting to try and learn to manipulate raw mana, and perhaps you can give me some inspiration." He requested and awaited the priest's response.
  49. (Sieghart Vaulkyr)
  50. ~~~~~~~~~~
  51. Sieghart got up from his meditation to follow to the field, outline of blue mana still around his body. Assuming the Ifrit stance, he latched the sheath to the hilt of his sword with small straps to hinder the edge of his sword. This way, he would not majorly harm his opponent.
  52.
  53. As he readied for battle, Sieg nodded as mana seemed to gather at his free hand. "Ready when you are then. By the way, my name is Sieghart Vaulkyr, but Sieg is fine."
  54. (Sieghart Vaulkyr)
  55. ~~~~~~~~~~
  56. The teen takes out a sword from his back, but doesn't really assume any stance as he was not a properly trained swordsman.
  57.
  58. "My name is Rain Multhunder, a pleasure to meet you Sieg."
  59.
  60. With that, he awaits for his opponent's first move.
  61.
  62. "I'm ready, feel free to come at me whenever you feel like it."
  63. (Rain Multhunder)
  64. ~~~~~~~~~~
  65. Right from the beginning, Sieg was a bit surprised. He was barraged by holy magic, being staggered quite a bit from it. With the mana gathered at his hand though, he responded with a surge of mana that seemed to be able to travel through other attacks. Although it may or may not have been dodged, Sieg was inspired now for sure.
  66.
  67. "Those energy orbs, so dense and bright, and so many. You have gave me a good image for what materializing my power should look like, or at least something close." He smiled as he said this between clashes. Once again preparing his sheathed blade, he seemed to mostly focus on using surges of mana and force from his palm and blade.
  68.
  69. The battle seemed rather even in terms of magical capability, but the priest had the slight upper-hand in experience and being able to shape his mana. Sieghart had to end up charging in at close-range in order to win the bout. As he charged in, he seemed to gather mana particles at his palm.
  70.
  71. Now, the mana particles actually seemed to gather as an orb, which spread out into a sheet in front of his palm, since it couldn't be made into a larger orb just yet. This unleashed a burst of mana and outright force in the air, knocking the priest off his feet.
  72.
  73. Sieghart charged in and grabbed his hand before he fell completely, though.
  74.
  75. "Wouldn't want to get those robes dirty." He gave a smile and a nod. "Thanks, you've helped a lot, and even pushed my capabilities with manipulating my own mana a bit further. I'll take no more of your time, have a good night, father Multhunder."
  76. (Sieghart Vaulkyr)
  77. ~~~~~~~~~~
  78. As the spar started, the first thing that the teen had done was sending a barrage of energy orbs towards Sieghart. If they needed some inspiration deriving from Holy Magic, he might as well use as many as he can, which caused him to use it as many times as possible.
  79.
  80. Still, it wasn't enough to cause him to win the fight. They were surely even in magical capabilities, but his oponente had the upper hand due to having a wider arsenal and they also seemed to be more profficient with the sword than him.
  81.
  82. Once they shortened the distance from each other, and Sieghart prepared an orb of energy into his palm, the Acolyte would be unable to avoid the burst of mana that knocked him off his feet.
  83.
  84. Before he could fall though, it seems his oponnent was nice enough to stop it as his hand was grabbed. A small smile appearing on Rain's lips as he manages to get back on his feet and laughs.
  85.
  86. "Well, thanks for that... and yeah, I'm glad for having been able to help."
  87.
  88. A few moments pass and then he realizes something and shakes his head while scratching the back of his head.
  89.
  90. "I'm not a Priest... yet. I was just recently made an Acolyte, so calling me Father is too much.
  91.
  92. Anyways, now that you've got an idea of how Holy Magic works, I hope you can make a breakthrough with your own magic.
  93.
  94. Perhaps you can even challenge others from the church. I've seen other Acolytes with more skill in Holy magic than me, they could surely help you as well."
  95. (Rain Multhunder)
  96. ~~~~~~~~~~
  97. Sieg shrugged as Rain seemed to not have the full title of father yet. "Ahh, shame it sounded kind of cool. Either way, Thanks again Rain, I'm pretty sure I've got a good grip on it now. I'll probably see you another day, but farewell for now." He gave a slight wave as he walked off, probably to find somewhere to rest and recover his mana.
