  16. The Role

  18. An exciting opportunity has opened for a Sales Representative Role in our Cheltenham office.
  19.  
  20. The role is to be our key point of contact for new and existing sales support answering to the Managing Director.
  21.  
  22. Travelling will be required locally and interstate possibly overseas to support our customer base.
  23.  
  24. What you would do
  25.  
  26. Visit new and existing customers to develop business opportunities.
  27.  
  28. Provide Telephone and email support.
  29.  
  30. Assist with technical enquiries and identify and access customer needs and go above and beyond to satisfy those needs.
  31.  
  32. Back up internal office staff on occasions with fulfilling orders.
  33.  
  34. Build relationships and trust with customers through open and interactive communication.
  35.  
  36. Report and provide feedback on external and internal issues and market conditions.
  37.  
  38. Keep up to date with opposition and company products and educate customers on how products work.
  39.  
  40. Support in stocktakes and exhibitions.
  41.

  46. Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  47. Ability to have excellent phone skills.
  48. Strong ability to build customer relationships.
  49. Strong skills on Word, Excel, QuickBooks an advantage.
  50. Ability to multitask and prioritize.
  51. Must be organised and able to time manage effectively.
  52. Ability to think outside the square to problem solve.
  53. Proven ability to effectively resolve customer issues.
  54. Technical experience in the process/irrigation valve industry an advantage.
  55. Proven sales experience.
  56. Ability to be hands on to build / assemble valves in house or on site when necessary and test.
