Born on October 7, 1996 in Daegu, South Korea to a Korean father Kim Sunghwan and mother Shin Hyojin. Zee is the first child in their family with one younger sister, Kim Myunji. Her dad is a doctor and her mom is a former chef. Zee and her sister has 3 years age difference.

Zee and her family was lived in Daegu but then moved to Seoul when she was 10 years old because of her dad jobs. Since 4 years old she already enjoying sing and dance. Zee really love music. She appeared on Star King when she was 12.

Zee auditioned at YG when she was 13 years old. On her training day, she got interested on rap and start learning it and now she's being a rapper. Zee is currently studying at School of Performing Arts Seoul.
