Sona is a very bright and mischievous girl, often playing pranks on people and is the mood maker of the group. Even though her fans see her as a very happy person, she is very self-conscious because she often receives a lot of criticism because apparently she doesn’t fit the Korean standards because of her tanned skin and the fact that she is only half Korean. She is very affectionate and does a lot of skinship with her teammates. She loves her friends as they play an important role in her life and she would do anything for them.

Sona’s father left her and her mother after she was born which is why she is usually cold to guys. When Sona was 5 she was woken up by her mother and grandma in the middle of the night telling her to pack her clothes and go to the car, Sona had no idea why she was being told to do this but she complied anyway. When she got into the car with her grandmother, her mother drove off looking into the rear view mirror at the car that drove towards their house as they continued to go to their own destination, the airport. Sona soon found out her father was in the Mafia and he had owed money to some men and they were after her and her family so they were fleeing Australia to go to Korea. Growing up without her father was tough and her mother had to work 3 jobs to pay for the food and rent, as for her, she had to get a job as soon as she was 12. Her grandmother also lived with them and was always there for Sona, her grandmother was wise and unfortunately very old, by the age of 12 her grandmother had passed away and left her a bracelet made of Rose Quartz and Dream amethyst. Sona decided to pursue her dreams as an idol at the age of 13 because her grandmother had always told her to chase her dreams and if anyone told her she couldn’t make it because she was a certain way not to let that stop her because she is a woman and she can accomplish anything.
