  1. 1. General
  2. The opening time and date of the prize draw is the time the Tweet is first posted by the Promoter, and the closing date and time for receipt of entries is at 23:59 GMT on Wednesday 20th December. Entries submitted after this time will not be considered.
  3. 2. Restrictions
  4. This prize draw is open to UK residents aged eighteen (18) and over only. Employees (and members of their immediate family) of the Twitter handle that originally posted the Tweet (“Promoter”), their agents and anyone connected to this competition including employees of Activision Blizzard UK Limited are not eligible to enter. Subject to all applicable laws and regulations.
  5. 3. Rules to participate
  6. No purchase of any goods or services is necessary to be eligible for entry into this prize draw.
  7. The Twitter competition will be run via the Promoter’s Twitter handle.
  8. Log into your Twitter account at www.twitter.com and follow the instructions on the relevant post mentioning the 12 Days of Christmas Competition (the “Tweet”).
  9. The winner will be determined through a prize draw on Promoter’s Twitter channels. The winner will be selected at random.
  10. Each entrant may only enter the prize draw one (1) time during the Contest Period. Submissions received from any person or email address in excess of the stated limit will be void. Submissions generated by script, macro or other automated means are void.
  11. The prize draw will be conducted by Promoter. The judges’ decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
  12. 4. Prize(s)
  13. One (1) winner will receive the prize stated in the Tweet.
  14. Activision Blizzard UK Limited will be responsible for prize fulfilment. The prize winner will receive their prize via Royal Mail Recorded delivery and the prize winner will be required to provide Activision Blizzard UK Limited with a suitable contact name & UK address to send the prize to.
  15. There are no alternatives to these prizes. They are as stated and are non-transferable. If due to circumstances beyond the control of Promoter, Promoter is unable to provide the stated prizes, Promoter reserves the right to award substitute prizes of equal value. All prizes are subject to the terms and conditions of the supplier. Any taxes due on the prize will be paid by the winner.
  16. 5. Results
  17. The winner will be contacted via Twitter by Promoter once the prize draw has closed.
  18. If the winner of the prize cannot be traced after reasonable efforts have been made by Promoter, Promoter will be entitled to select alternative winner from among the entrants.
  19. Winner details will be available for four (4) weeks following the day of the selection of the winner. This list can be obtained by writing to 12 Days Of Christmas 2017 Twitter Contest, Activision Blizzard, Ditton Park, Datchet, SL3 9LL.
  20. If proof of age and/or parental consent is requested, and if satisfactory proof of age and/or parental consent is not received, Promoter reserves the rights to choose another winner.
  21. 6. General Conditions
  22. Any entry, which does not comply with the rules, may be deemed invalid at the sole discretion of Promoter. Promoter is not responsible for technical, hardware or software malfunctions, misdirected entries, lost or unavailable network connections, failed, incorrect, garbled, delayed electronic or other communications or other technical problems related to mobile entries. Proof of sending will not be deemed to be proof of delivery.
  23. Any participant who enters or attempts to enter the prize draw in a manner, which in Promoter’s determination is contrary to these rules or by its nature is fraudulent or unjust to other entrants including without limitation tampering with the operation of the competition, cheating, hacking, deception or any other unfair playing practices such as intending to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other entrants or Promoter and/or any of its agents or representatives, or who submits an illegible or incomplete entry may be rejected from the competition at Promoter’s sole discretion.
  24. Entrants agree that their names and/or likeness may be used to announce the winner via Twitter, or on Activision Blizzard’s websites and be included on the winners list as mentioned in section 5 above. Entrants may be required to take part in publicity without further consent or payment. Such publicity may include their names and/or likeness.
  25. 7. Data protection
  26. In order to participate in the prize draw participants must provide certain information on themselves. This personal information is collected and processed only for the purposes of organising, running and monitoring the campaign, as well as for carrying out publicity activities on it. Activision Blizzard UK Limited shall be considered the data controller for the database containing this personal information and provides for an appropriate data protection level.
  27. Personal information includes name, address, email address and date of birth.
  28. Entrants have the right to access, withdraw, and correct their personal data. Entrants may request such action by sending a letter with the request to 12 Days Of Christmas 2017 Twitter Contest, Activision Blizzard, Ditton Park, Datchet, SL3 9LL.
  29. By entering this prize draw, participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and by any other requirements set out in the promotional material. Promoter reserves the right to modify, cancel, terminate or suspend the competition in whole or in part, at its sole discretion, if it believes the competition is not capable of being conducted as specified in these rules or in the event of a virus, a computer bug or unauthorised human intervention or any other cause that is beyond reasonable control of Promoter that could corrupt or affect the administration, security, impartiality or normal course of the competition.
  30. This prize draw is governed by and is in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
