  1. Good evening officials and admins, i am writing to you on behalf of team Carnage competing in this seasons CEVO-Intermediate. We, as a team have been discussing over the past few weeks regarding this issue concerning Hazfkn and Wolfy[2g]. At first we thought it would be wiser to accept the officials decision but after gathering the facts we feel strongly that we are victims of injustice. Allow me to explain to you why:
  2.
  3. Two weeks ago on thursday 12th May Wolfy[2g] had numerous conversations with rami(GGCEVO) about possibly leaving sublime for Carnage. Wolfy was worried because it was the last week of the season and he knew there was a ruling in regards to the total number of games played to be eligible for finals. Rami informed him that one game was needed to be played to be eligible to compete in the finals. Wolfys next question was to do with the carnages next opponent Cirrus.
  4.
  5. Cirrus were dead and the game would be a forfeit, would this count towards one game being played? Rami informed Wolfy that as long as all players were in cmn he would count it so he would be eligible for finals.
  6.
  7. Later that night Wolfy made the decision to leave sublime. Hazfkn who also was joining carnage left Infamous. Now rosters were locked so Wolfy talked to rami on steam and gave him both their CEVO usernames. Rami said it wasn't a problem and added them both to the carnage roster. Hazfkn, who had only played main was required to pay an extra $5 to be eligible to compete in Intermediate. He paid the money no question as Rami had said he was fine to leave Infamous and play in Carnage. Everything went as was promised and Carnage were stoked with their new lineup and very much looking forward to the finals.
  8.
  9. Now this is where the controversy begins. The next day in the "lineup changes thread" team Vanquishers picked up on Carnages new pickups. Obviously being very familiar with the CEVO ruleset they were quick to show their unsportmanslike colours and talked about a particular rule which would affect us dramatically.
  10.
  11. "A player may only play on a maximum of two rosters during a season".
  12.
  13. Hazfkn and Wolfy have both already played in two different teams this season. Wolfy being Cirrus and sublime, Haz Infamous and Quadplay. Now we aren't disputing the rule, infact we agree with it our frustration lies with the fact we were given the ok by the head official. In result of Wolfy leaving sublime they died. They couldn't field 5, and if he had stayed they had a chance at making finals. Wolfy now can no longer play in the competition. Haz left Infamous who were already in finals, he then paid $5 to play in Intermediate. He now can no longer compete in any competition this season.
  14.
  15. Now i'm sure the injustice is clear to you. Why should Carnage, Wolfy and Haz suffer because of an admins mistake. If the people running the competition don't know the rules how are we meant to? People are paying money to play and in this case take the game very seriously. We aren't trying to blame this on rami but it's simply ridiculous to think we should have to cop this on the chin after a very successful season.
  16.
  17. Fattat, ubr myself have all been playing for years. We are well respected members of the community with good reputations. Fattat is a gglive admin and runs the GG lans in Sydney. Wolfy is a sublime admin and despite his shady past contributes the community in many ways. There has never been a time when we have kicked up a stink about any GG admin decisions however this time we feel we must say something publicly.
  18.
  19. Rules are there for a reason but each case should be dealt with individually. Sometimes the right thing to do isn't the easiest and rules need to be bent a little. I think everyone has learnt a lesson this season including the officials who are new on board but this isn't CEVO A and we have a real shot at making Pro next season.
  20.
  21. We as a team and organisation hope you do what is right and overturn the decision that has been made. We all want to make CSS as competitive as possible and help the community grow but it's hard to do that when players are being punished for other peoples mistakes.
  22.
  23. Thank you for reading, we anxiously await your reply.
