Ghidorah reentry

The three-headed monster streaked past the explosion, toward the blue-green waters of the Atlantic Ocean below.  As the creature entered Earth’s atmosphere, it’s golden scales began to glow bright red from the friction of reentry.  The brilliant glare was visible all across the northern hemisphere.
