[Gryphon Eyrie, Den - 8625]
Small, downy feathers are scattered about on the floor.  A rocky slope leads downward and farther into the cave, where shrill cries issue forth.  The ground is heavily pitted and scratched where numerous claws have dug into the rock.  The carcass of some poor beast lies on the floor, its bones nearly picked clean.
