  29. If you have a few examplaries of these Items, clone them using your Cloning Glitch Pokémon to get 20-30 of them.
  30. If you don't have these Items, obtain PP Max with Double Corruption (0 Speed, 71 Def)(see notes)
  31. - Around 50 Rare Candies.
  32. Use your Cloning Glitch Pokémon to quickly get them. If you have no Rare Candies, obtain one with Double Corruption (0 Speed, 68 Def EVs)(see notes)
  33. - A Pokémon who only knows an Electric move, a Poké who only knows a fighting move, a Poké who only knows Surf, a Poké who only knows Splash.
  34. Clone TMs to learn strong Electric/Psychic/Fighting moves to Pokémon, and use Lilycove's Move Deleter to remove their other moves.
  35. - A cloning Glitch Pokémon (see Notes)
  36. - An Instant Pomeg Glitch Pokémon (see Notes)
  37. - Unmarked Caterpie and Heart Caterpie, the corruption initiators

  39. You must know his PID, the corruption initiator that can corrupt his PID (Unmarked Caterpie or Marked Caterpie), his nature, and his IVs.

  49. Obtaining the required Glitch Items
  50. 1) Clones, Markings, Nicknames, EVs
  51. The Items required for Code Execution will be obtained by performing Double Corruption on EV-trained Smeargles.
  52. These Smeargles will have a specific nickname to indicate which Item they will be holding.
  53. You will be able to obtain 5 Items with a single Double Corruption with this method.
  54. All the corruptions for this method will be performed in Emerald, even if the Items you need are for FrLg or RS.

  56. 1.0) Initial training
  57. - Find back Smeargle's generation frame with RNG Reporter and write down its IVs somewhere. (Write something like "Glitch Item Smeargle, Nature : ..., IVs : xx/xx/xx/xx/xx/xx " )
  58. Knowing Smeargle's IVs will allow you to compute his stats after his EV-training and see if they match or not.
  59.  
  60. - Give 1 HP EV to Smeargle. (Fight a wild Wishmur)
  61. With this HP EV, Smeargle will become a Bulbasaur once corrupted.
  62.  
  63. - Give enough Rare Candies to make Smeargle grow to Lv 93-95.
  64. A high level will be useful to make EVs affect Smeargle's stats more easily.
  65. (We don't want Lv100 because he would not gain any more EV from battles)
  66.  
  67. - Make a party with : Fly Pokémon - Smeargle - Electric move Poké - Pokémon with Surf - Fighting move Poké - Splash move Poké
  68. Fly to Fallarbor Town and enter Desert Underpass.
  69. Save.
  70. Make wild encounters until you meet a Ditto.
  71. Send the Electric move Pokémon. Ditto will transform into that Pokémon.
  72. Send Smeargle and use Sketch. Smeargle will Sketch the Electric move. (If Smeargle dies in the process, reset and try again)
  73. Flee with a Fluffy Tail. (Don't kill the Ditto, you must not gain EVs from wild battles now)
  74. Go to the Move Relearner and use an Heart Scale to make Smeargle relearn Sketch.
  75. Save.
  76. Repeat the process with the Psychic move, Fighting move, Splash.
  77. Once this is done, place Smeargle's moves in that order : Electric move - Surf - Fighting move - Splash
  78. Save.
  79. ~ The Electric/Fighting moves and Surf are here to help Smeargle fight by himself.

  81. - Fly to Slateport and nickname that Smeargle "Item 0"
  82. - Clone this Smeargle and keep a copy in safety outside of Boxes 1/2.

  84. Smeargle is now ready to be cloned, marked, nicknamed, and EV trained.

  87. 1.1) Initial training 2
  88. In order to fasten the EV trains, this Smeargle will be cloned and pre-trained.
  89. - Make two clones of Smeargle "Item 0", and put them in your party.
  90. - Fly to Slateport and go to the Name Rater.
  91. - Change the nickname of the first clone to "250S,250D", and of the second clone to "00S,00D".
  92. Smeargle "0,0" has 0 Speed, 0 Def EVs.
  93. Smeargle "255S,254D" will have 250 Speed EVs, 250 Def EVs.
  94. - Deposit Smeargle "00S,00D" in the PC.
  95. - Clone it and keep a copy in safety along with the copy of Smeargle "Item 0".

  97. - Give 10 Carbos (+100 Speed) and 10 Iron (+100 Def) to Smeargle "250S,250D".
  98. - Give a Macho Brace to Smeargle "250S,250D".
  99. - Fly to Fortree, go to Route 119 and enter the tall grass.
  100. - Kill 40 Linoone. (+160 Speed EVs)
  101. Note each Linoone you kill in order to not miss any.
  102. You can also kill wild Zigzagoon to make things faster, but keep the counts well ! (1 Zigzagoon is 2 Speed EVs with Macho Brace, while 1 Linoone is 4 Speed EVs, so 2 Zigzagoon = 1 Linoone)
  103. Now, Smeargle "250S,250D" has 255 Speed EVs.
  104. - Give 1 Tamato Berry to Smeargle "250S,250D". (-10 Speed EVs, so 245 Speed EVs.)
  105. - Kill 1 Linoone. (+4 Speed EVs, so 249 Speed EVs.)
  106. - Take the Macho Brace from Smeargle "250S,250D".
  107. - Fly to Route 103, and kill 1 Zigzagoon/Wingull (+1 Speed EV, so 250 Speed EVs.)
  108. Now, Smeargle "250S,250D" has 250 Speed EVs.

  110. - Give a Macho Brace to Smeargle "250S,250D".
  111. - Fly to Lavaridge and enter the Magma Hideout.
  112. - Kill 40 Graveler/Torkoal (+160 Def EVs)
  113. Note each Graveler/Torkoal you kill in order to not miss any.
  114. You can also kill wild Geodude to make things faster, but keep the counts well ! (1 Geodude is 2 Def EVs with Macho Brace, while 1 Graveler/Torkoal is 4 Def EVs, so 2 Geodude = 1 Graveler/Torkoal)
  115. Now, Smeargle "250S,250D" has 250 Speed EVs and 255 Def EVs.
  116. - Give 1 Qualot Berry to Smeargle "250S,250D". (-10 Def EVs, so 245 Def EVs.)
  117. - Kill 1 Graveler/Torkoal. (+4 Speed EVs, so 249 Speed EVs.)
  118. - Take the Macho Brace from Smeargle "250S,250D".
  119. - Without the Macho Brace, kill 1 Geodude (+1 Def EV, so 250 Def EVs.)
  120. Now, Smeargle "250S,250D" has 250 Speed EVs and 250 Def EVs.

  122. - Fly to Slateport.
  123. - Deposit Smeargle "250S,250D" in the PC.
  124. - Clone it 2 times.
  125. Deposit a copy in safety with Smeargle "00S,00D".

  127. Thus, you have obtained :
  128. Smeargle "Item 0", the root of all future Smeargle that will produce Glitch Items.
  129. Smeargle "00S,00D", a clone of Smeargle "Item 0" with 00 Speed EVs, 00 Def EVs.
  130. Smeargle "250S,250D", a clone of Smeargle "Item 0" with 250 Speed EVs, 250 Def EVs.

  132. By giving Carbos or Iron to a Smeargle "00S,00D" clone, you can quickly reach 00,10,20,30,40,50,60,70,80,90,100 Speed/Def EVs, and gain the last remaining EVs you need with a few kills.
  133. By giving Tamato Berries or Qualot Berries to a Smeargle "250S,250D" clone, you can quickly reach 250,240,230,220,210,...,110 Speed/Def EVs, and gain the last remaining EVs you need with a few kills.

  136. 1.2) Nicknames and Smeargle Clones
  137. A Double-Corruption can produce 5 Glitch Items at a time.
  138. Thus, the Items you need for Code Execution will be obtained 5 by 5.
  139. They will be stored in PC, held by Bulbasaurs or Smeargles with specific nicknames.
  140. This step will allow you to prepare a Smeargle to obtain 1 Item, so you will have to repeat it 5 times before going to the next step.

  142. - Make a PC Box reserved for Pokémon holding specific Glitch Items.
  143. Name it "Items", or something you'll easily recognize.
  144. Don't use Boxes 1/2 ! These are affected by Pomeg Glitch data corruption.
  145. - Prepare a dozen of clones of Smeargle "00S,00D" and Smeargle "250S,250D".
  146.  
  147. - Note the identifiant of an Item that you need for the Code Execution. (Items that must be placed in PC or in Pyramid Bags)
  148. You will need to rename and train a clone of Smeargle "00S,00D" or Smeargle "250S,250D" in order to obtain this Item after a Double-Corruption.
  149.  
  150. - If the Identifiant of an Item is 0xFFFF, you will need another method to obtain it. (see Notes)
  151. Thus, pick another Item that you need and note its identifiant.
  152. - If the Item you need is an in-game Item that you can easily obtain in-game :
  153. Obtain the Item.
  154. Make/take a clone of Smeargle "00S,00D".
  155. Go to Slateport's Name Rater and nickname it with the hexadecimal identifiant of the Item.
  156. Give this Smeargle the Item.
  157. Pick another Item that you need and note its identifiant.
  158. ex : If your third Item is 0x0090 (Wiki Berry), go obtain a Wiki berry, change the nickname of a Smeargle "00S,00D" to "0x0090", give it a Wiki Berry, and deposit that Smeargle in the Box dedicated to Pokémon holding Items/Glitch Items.

  160. Thus, you will end up with the hexadecimal identifiant of an Item that is either a Glitch Item (except 0xFFFF), either in-game an Item that is hard to obtain and that you don't have.

  163. - Compute the Speed and Def EVs required to obtain this Item.
  164. Take the identifiant of your first Item and convert it to decimal.
  165. Make an euclidian division of that identifiant by 256 : Identifiant = 256*(Quotient) + Remainder = 256*(Speed EVs) + Def EVs
  166. You will need to give "Quotient" Speed EVs and "Remainder" Def EVs to a Smeargle clone to obtain this Item. Note this information.
  167. Note : In many procedures, the required amount Speed and Def EVs is already indicated (but not always).

  169. - Choose which Smeargle clone you will need for this Item.
  170. Take the identifiant of your Item, as well as the Speed and Def EVs required to obtain it.
  171. If this Item needs more than 110 Speed EVs or 110 Def EVs, make/take a clone of Smeargle "250S,250D".
  172. If this Item needs less than 110 Speed EVs and less than 110 Def EVs, make/take a clone of Smeargle "00S,00D".
  173. Note this information. (ex : For Item 0x2547, I write down : "Item 0x2547, 37 Speed, 71 Def, Smeargle 00S,00D.")

  175. - Fly to Lilycove and rename your Smeargle clone with the name of the Item they are assigned.
  176. ex : If the Item identifiant is 0x2547, nickname your Smeargle "0x2547".
  177. - Save.
  178. /!\ After this point, in part 1.2), don't save until the whole training is done and the safety checks are done !
  179. If you make a mistake, hesitate, or want to make a pause, reset and restart from here. /!\

  182. - If the Item Identifiant is between 0x4000-0x7FFF or 0xC000-0xFFFF (64-127 or 192-255 Speed EVs) , maximize the PPs of Splash of your Smeargle clone with 3 PP Ups / 1 PP Max.
  183. If the Item Identifiant is between 0x0000-0x3FFF or 0x8000-0xBFFF (0-63 or 128-191 Speed EVs), do not maximize the PPs of Splash.

  186. - Give the Speed and Def EVs required to your Smeargle clone.
  187. Take the amount of Speed and Def EVs required to obtain the Item.

  189. If your Smeargle is a Smeargle "00S,00D" clone :
  190. Give it Carbos until its Speed EVs increases to the dozens right below the quantities of Speed EVs you need.
  191. Give it Iron until its Def EVs increases to the dozens right below the quantities of Def EVs you need.
  192. If you fall short of Carbos/Iron, clone them again with the Cloning Glitch Pokémon.
  193. Then, gain the remaining amount of Speed and Def EVs by killing some wild Pokémon. (with or without Macho Brace)

  195. If your Smeargle is a Smeargle "250S,250D" clone :
  196. Give it Tamato Berries until its Speed EVs decrease to the dozens right below the quantities of Speed EVs you need.
  197. Give it Qualot Berries until its Def EVs decrease to the dozens right below the quantities of Def EVs you need.
  198. If you fall short of Tamato/Qualot Berries, clone them again with the Cloning Glitch Pokémon.
  199. Then, gain the remaining amount of EVs by killing some wild Pokémon. (with or without Macho Brace)

  202. ex : My Item is 0x2547. 0x2547 = 9.543 | 9.543 = 256*37 + 71.
  203. I need 37 Speed and 71 Def EVs, and I use a clone of Smeargle "00S,00D" for that.
  204. I nickname this Smeargle "0x2547".
  205. The leftmost character of 0x2547 is "2", so Splash PPs must not be maximized.
  206. Then, I give 3 Carbos (+30 Speed EVs) and 7 Iron (+70 Def EVs) to that Smeargle.
  207. Then, I need to give 7 Speed EVs and 1 Def EVs with wild Pokémon.
  208. For Speed, I will kill 3 Linoone (+3*2) and 1 Zigzagoon/Wingull (+1). For Defense, I will kill 1 Geodude (+1).

  210. ex : My Item 0x9524. 0x9524 = 38.180 | 38.180 = 256*149 + 36.
  211. I need 149 Speed and 36 Def EVs to obtain this Item, and I use a clone of Smeargle "250S,250D" for that.

  213. I wans to decreases the EVs of this Smeargle to 140 Speed and 30 Def. I have : 25-14 = 11, and 25-3 = 22.
  214. Then, I give 11 Tamato Berries (-110 Speed EVs) and 22 Qualot Berries (-220 Def EVs) to that Smeargle. He reaches 140 Speed and 30 Def.

  223. I recommend you to use a pen and a paper to note the amount of Carbos/Iron/Tamato Berry/Qualot Berry/kills you need, all your Carbos/Iron/Tamato Berry/Qualot Berry you have already given, and all your kills (those that give 1/2/4 EVs and in which stat)
  224. If at one time you are unsure of the amount of Berries/EV-boosters you gave to your Smeargle (if you missed one or lacked focus), reset and redo your counts.
  225. It is important to not leave any area for error in this part ! /!\
  226. /!\ PokéRus can mess with your Pokémon's EVs, so check regularly if the Pokémon you are training has caught PokéRus or not (save if the Pokémon doesn't have PokéRus, reset if he caught PokéRus).
  227. I know that PokéRus is super rare and that you will not do that much battles, but if you are the one person that gets PokéRus during your EV training, you will not get the right results in the end and you will have to redo this EV training again. /!\

  230. - [Safery check] Once you have finished your Smeargle, check back if you increased Splash his PPs to 64 or ot. (If he needed between 64-127 or 192-255 Speed EVs.)

  232. - [Safery check] Then, open a stat calculator (http://www.psypokes.com/dex/stats.php) and compute the stats that Smeargle is suposed to have with this Level,Nature,IVs, and EVs. (1 HP Ev,.. Def Evs, .. Speed EVs)
  233. If the Def or Speed stat doesn't match, this means that Smeargle's EVs in this stat are not correct, so you will have to reset and redo them.

This process doesn't certify that Smeargle's EVs are correct because a 1 EV change doesn't always imply a change of 1 stat point (at such a high level, that would be 1/4th of the time), but this gives you a certain chance to find a possible mistake, especially if you gave an incorrect number of Carbos/Iron/Tamato Berry/Qualot Berry.

  237. To perform Arbitrary Code Execution, you will have to train around 20 Smeargles, so it is important for you to have as much control as possible in order to reduce as much as possible the probability to make a mistake.

  240. - Once both of these Safety checks are passed, you can now save.
  241. Your Smeargle should be ready and trained without mistakes. (Although the part is long, the time required to train the Smeargle is not that long since you only need to give it 10-30 Berries/EV-boosters and make it fight 2-5 wild Pokémon, along with a stats calculation.)

  243. - Open the PC, deposit the trained Smeargle, and mark it with a Square mark in order to remember that its training is complete.
  244. Write down on your notes that the training with this Smeargle is done. (With a "Training Ok" or something like that)

  247. 1.3) Training 5 Smeargles
  248. - Repeat step 1.4 four more times.
  249. You will end up with 5 Smeargles fully EV-trained.
  250. The Double-Corruption procedure will allow you to corrupt these 5 Smeargles at the same time.

  254. 2) Performing Double Corruption
  255. - Take your five Smeargle and perform a Double Corruption on them using the general Double Corruption procedure.
  256. Take the Corruption Initiator that can corrupt the Smeargles' TID, and clone it 25 times. (You normally know your TID corruption)
  257. Clone all the Smeargles 5 times and deposit a clone in safety.
  258. Then deposit :
  259. Smeargle n°1 clones at Box 1 Slots 2,4,6,8,10
  260. Smeargle n°2 clones at Box 1 Slots 12,14,16,18,20
  261. Smeargle n°3 clones at Box 1 Slots 22,24,26,28,30
  262. Smeargle n°4 clones at Box 2 Slots 2,4,6,8,10
  263. Smeargle n°5 clones at Box 2 Slots 12,14,16,18,20
  264. Corruption Initiator (for Smeargles TID) at Box 1 Slots 1,3,5,7,9,11,13,15,17,19,21,23,5,27,29 and Box 2 Slots 1,3,5,7,9,11,13,15,17,19.

  266. You don't need to worry about the Specific Critera, it has already been taken care of with Splash PPs.
  267. I strongly advise you to use Instant Pomeg Glitch in order to fasten the corruption part.

  269. [Safety check] Once the first corruption is done, DO NOT TOUCH/MOVE the EGGS ! (Here, the 4th move requirement for the "fast double corruption" are not met)
  270. Once you have 5 Eggs from your Smeargle clones, save.
  271.  
  272. [Safety check] If you only have 1 to 4 Eggs, this means that some Smeargles (the ones who didn't become Eggs) do not have the right amount of Splash PPs/Speed EVs. Thus, reset and look back at these Smeargles to find the mistake.
  273. If a Smeargle needed 64 Splash PPs and doesn't have them, give him 1 PP Max/3 PP Ups to fix the mistake. Then, save and clone it 5 times to replace it in Box 1/2, and restart the corruption.
  274. If a Smeargle needed less than 64 Splash PPs and has 64 Splash PPs, make him forget Splash, then learn Sketch, then learn Splash again. Then, save and clone it 5 times to replace it in Box 1/2, and restart the corruption.
  275. If a Smeargle has the correct amount of Splash PPs, this means that your Speed EVs were not right. So give Tamato Berries to that Smeargle to make its Speed EVs fall to 0 and go back to EV-training. Then, save and clone it 5 times to replace it in Box 1/2, and restart the corruption.

  277. After obtaining 5 Eggs, save, remove the Bad Eggs and other Pokémon, take the corruption initiator that can corrupt Smeargle's PID, clone it 5 times, and deposit a clone right before each Egg (1 PC Slot before).

  279. Then perform a second Pomeg Glitch Data Corruption to corrupt the Eggs. (I strongly recommend an Instant Pomeg Glitch)
  280. Since you can't clone the Smeargle Eggs, this corruption only has 1/32 chance to succeed.
  281. But if you performed an Instant Pomeg Glitch, your corruption attempts will be quite fast.

  284. - Once your Smeargles became Bulbasaurs holding Glitch Items, move them to the Box dedicated to Pokémon holding Glitch Items.

  286. - If you have Bad Eggs remaining from the Double Corruption, remove them using the anti-cloning procedure with the Cloning Glitch Pokémon.
